DickSimmons Report post Posted April 13, 2010 I still think you should have brought your FGT with you and sold it there, then bought an R8 over there. The way I see it is, you'd sell the FGT for more there than you would here. Then if you wanted the R8, you could buy it there (preferably used.) Even though you'd have to pay more for it there, you'd also be able to sell it there for more too. Buy here for $150K, and sell here for $100K for example, or buy there for 150K Euro and sell there for 100K Euro. Same thing. Now if you can sell your US spec R8 there for the same price as the Euro spec and at Euro prices, then no big deal. I doubt it would be an easy sell though, because I doubt the warranty is global etc.
D.Wiggs Report post Posted April 13, 2010 There's a black v10 on 6speed for $150K with GMG Exhaust. MSRP was $168K. Looks like a good deal, but the wheels are painted black and calipers red (yuck.) Link?
DickSimmons Report post Posted April 13, 2010 Link? http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/automob...mg-exhaust.html I think that's a really good deal if you don't mind the wheels and calipers.

Calipers can be changed and black wheels are the ONLY way to go on a black car!

Serious, the old style 5 spoke (10) with titanium wheels looks way better.

I do not like lights colored wheels at all. To me, that's very 1990s.
