2aftercannonball Report post Posted September 1, 2010 Don't some turtles live like 500 years? Are you paying him by the hour? I hear its better to enjoy these cars when your young. When he needs parts does he next day them in? Just joking, but seriously why the rush to get the thing done before your kids kids kids have kids? Looks nice Ralph! ralfabco Report post Posted September 7, 2010 turtles make good soup.... how long has it been there? 5years? 4 Joey, At the moment, it is on the lift. All the paint is stripped. The following items have been removed - glass - aside from the windshield, interior, doors, gas tanks, radiators, rocker panels, misc components under the front bonnet, both deck-lids, engine and box, and suspension. All the fiberglass trim has been repaired. Front bumper, and wheel flares. Some suspension items will have to be replaced. I believe the engine is good to go. The carbs and headers have been taken off. I have a new ANSA can, shocks and tires. I will probably put in a new interior. The current interior is all wrong. It is a 5000S interior in a different color. The car is almost ready to be sprayed.
