the main reason I like is because it looks very mechanical,

I hate yellow gold but I quite like the rose gold against the carbon.

AndrewD very nice choice it looks classy, but I don't think I could pull it off :icon_mrgreen:

I hate spending so much money on a watch so I need a reason :icon_mrgreen:

I set myself a personal challenge for 2011 when I get there I will spoil myself :icon_thumleft:

Watches are like drugs. One you get hooked it is very tough to shake the disease lol. I love the GP, especially in RG.

Fortis, the AP looks like it would match the interior of a Zonda very well ;)

Fortis!!

I was at the AP store yesterday and saw the carbon one. They are selling for about $40k. It looks unbelievable! I can only imagine what the Rose Gold looks like. I have seen the carbon one in ads and pics online, but when i tried it on yesterday, i was blown away.

FYI: the dude i deal with at Kronometry in Paris is at the SIHH in Geneva now. He told me that AP will not be offering any limited editions in 2011 other than this watch (unless they have some surprise up their sleeve). Apparently, thats why the made over 1700 pieces of it. Also, the Royal Oak Offshores will only be offered in 44mm this year (as opposed to 42mm) :icon_thumleft:

Thanks for your help. :icon_thumleft:

Absolutely...

Im actually gonna visit Alex at Kronometry next weekend (21st), so ill ask him and let you know same day. I can also give him your email address if you like and have him contact you directly. That way, if you ever need quotes in the future, you can just email him.

Just send me your email address if you want me to do that. Otherwise, ill just PM you while im there.

Cheers
