capt_chaos Report post Posted March 19, 2011 Cannot blooming wait, England versus Ireland. Loving the BBC coverage, this is their intro http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/9428979.stm The victor C. W. Longenecker If you think you are beaten, you are, If you think you dare not, you don't. If you like to win, but you think you can't, It is almost certain you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost, For out in the world we find, Success begins with a fellow's will. It's all in the state of mind. If you think you are outclassed, you are, You've got to think high to rise, You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win a prize. Life's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man. But soon or late the man who wins, Is the man who thinks he can. jim501 Report post Posted March 20, 2011 Well you won the cup, but I don't think they will be proud of the game. Ireland played really well, the English weren't in it from the start. Mind you neither were the Welsh so it worked out well. It's still so weird to see someone get sinbinned for throwing the ball away. I don't think in all the years I played I felt like throwing the ball away, and knowing they now sinbin you I can't believe that people do. Mind you I think I'm doing well remembering the game considering the amount of Hoegaarden I consumed.
capt_chaos Report post Posted March 21, 2011 The ref started off well but as England got more and more indisciplined his game became a little petulant imo. That said England's last match against Wales was only turned round when the ref was injured - says alot about the English play, it still has a way to go before they stop making silly mistakes. The game against Ireland was one I think the Irish fully deserved the result.
