The way I see it the only reason why you can't rain on his parade is because he's paying for it.

 

At the end of the day I am sure he would like to be challenged, I would, otherwise how would I know that I am the best out there.

It took place yesterday...I left it alone completely and he even sent me a message the night before. He must have been drunk or something because it sounds like a 12 year old wrote this.

I just filled out the online applications to file a record with them and im supposed to hear back from them in 6 weeks...part of the questions were do you have any media covering the event. I know people at each local news station so Ill definitely get it covered.

From reading that it sounds like he sent it to everyone in his contacts list so more people attended.

 

I doubt he wrote and sent it to you personally. But good luck with the record attempt whenever you do it, only problem is that you don't even know if it'll be published in the book or not!

No sir. I play a good game but I have an 11 handicap and I don't hit for length when I'm playing a round. The long drive is just for show. I still hit my clubs longer then others when I'm playing but I would say a typical drive is 330-350

People get a little thrown off when I'm playing a round and I'm hitting my pitching wedge on the green from 190 yards out and I'm hitting a 7 iron from my second shot on a par 5. My putting kills me though.. If my putting was better I'd be reexamining my career choice.

 

Also longest drive I've had in a competition was 419 yards in the Remax world long drive championship district finals. So 400+ isn't a regular occurrence. Most competitions that I've won have been with 365-385

I think I was 21 here winning the state championship.. The guy behind the water bottle is the guy from this record.

That's awesome! I had a 350 yd drive once but it was windy and rolled a long way down hill haha
