The picture with your Daughter is the best one.

Chadbourn Bolles

Today, after a loooooong wait, including US customs using two weeks over planned time to release the papers, and a strike in Antwerpen, further delaying, I finally got to collect the car today. Of course, at a price like I payed, some things will need work, but in general it was a bit better than I expected.

Feels good now :icon_super:

Let us know about your shipping and cost of shipping experience besides customs. PM me if you dont want it public. I am interested to know how much of a pain this is. One day my car is going to my hometown...

Short story on the freight/cost:

Chad lives in a bit of a rural area. Extra for pickup there with a flatbed $150.

Freight out to the harbour (2-3 hour drive?) and packing in a countainer and paperwork + insurance on the car for the trip: $2425.

Port fee and paperwork in Norway: $900. This might differ to other contries, but the freight is only marginally different to other european countries.

For this car I used Schumacher, and they have been easy to deal with, but if you are to send your car from the eastcoast (LA), I recomend california Shipping there, run by a Swedish guy, Thomas, the balled guy from Boyd's shop in American Roadster. They was so easy and fast to deal with, and they have specialised on hobby-cars.

So, not any pain at all. Just a long wait... They do this kind of work every day, and take care off all the paperwork (since the US custom is strict), so there will not be sent no car out of the US if not all is in order.

Thanks for this info. So shipping to europe is around $3500 one way give or take based on country and shipper.

It was a cheaper way to take the pain away when not having the funds for the dreamcar, but actually, I am looking for a new Pantera too.....

Hhahahahahahahahahaha.........what a great buy!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe some of the discussions about this car, more so the private ones.....because 60k or 70k US for a sidedraft 4 liter Countach in this shape is a bargain!!!!!!!!

Mark my words, this is one of the car we will take about in 5 years....."remember when Chad had that yellow car for sale at 70k?" All the "shoulda bought it" will come out.
