I visited Covert earlier last week. You really have to see this in person. I must say, Wiggs is outdoing the best of the best. There is no lighter SV out there and with the turbos that are being installed, OMG.

I will post some other videos when I land in Munich :-P

Nothing rocks like surfing LamboPower from 36,000 feet in First. Well, maybe if it was on a private jet or space shuttle.

specs on this build?

It bakes cookies...

Personally I have no dog in this fight, have nothing against Wiggs, however I do feel he shouldnt of talked soo much trash prior to having something worth talking shit about. He should of kept quiet, then showed up at Texas mile and smoked everyone. Then people would of shit themselves.

Just had this emailed to me.. Pretty funny..

Started to post about giving David a chance to let the numbers speak for themselves, but all the pomp and circumstance around this project has left me somewhat agnostic;)

4 years of R&D to slap a couple of big ass turbos on a Lambo and build a stronger engine and tune the thing.

Also, pushing the car into a waiting crowd makes for the worlds most anti climactic launch ever.

IIRC, UGR didn't make much noise about its 700 TT and instead just posted a kick-ass vid when it was finished.

I don't really follow all this bullshit, but am I right that Wiggs is trying to start a tuning company? And his first project he has named.... wait for it.... "The Stig"?

As in "Top Gear's" tired, race car driver schtick?

Does anybody else find that to be a completely douchebag move?

At BEST it belays an outstanding lack of creativity...

At worst its an unfair business practices/ tying-in misrepresentation/ TM violation/ lawsuit by the BBC.

It took him 3 1/2 years to think of what to name it...

And what the fcuk are those honeycomb looking things sticking out the back???

The car even agrees with you!

Sky net is self aware. AND self-loathing.

Fortunately my username is covered by Ukranian copy right law.

You're not using it commercially.

How does he know it makes 2000hp if he can't start it up?

The Stig told him so. Oh. Wait. He doesn't fcuking talk, and is just a lame thematic device used to hide the fact that the show couldn't insure the same guy would be available to test drive the cars all season, thus completely undermining the results and the purpose for the segment.

Lame.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there some talk a long while back about the Murci's/LP6X0' ancient tubular steel chassis can only handle X amount of hp & torque? (The thread may have been lost during the big L/P site crash.) I don't remember the number but it was way below 2000. I only skimmed over this thread so pardon me if I missed something but I don't seem to see anything about reinforcing the chassis. Isn't this kind of...umm...risky then?

Chassis has been upgraded from what I know.

And you are correct.
