Sweet!! I'm excited to see what kind of piping you went with.

Black!! =)

Should look stout on a White car. Now all I'll need is a transparent bumper. :icon_mrgreen:

Out of curiosity.. what would be a better platform? R8 V10 Spyder (Rtronic) or a LP570? both 1.5? Would the weight of the car make the R8 better for traction? or at the end of the day would the LP570 being lighter be better?

Congrats again, Fadi! That car is going to Boogie!

I am assuming power for power, the LP570 is going to be faster than an R8 Conv. due to the weight difference alone. I am sure tranny shift speeds and some other things are in favor of the LP570 also. If there is going to be traction issues in one car, I think there would be traction issues in the other. I am assuming here, but Kevin may be the better person to answer.

And thanks, brother. I am looking forward to getting the car back and reporting my experience with Kevin / UGR. Are you thinking about a bolt on kit?

How much more Peak HP will the larger turbos in the Stage 1.5 gain over the smaller turbos in the Stage 1 kit? (Running 93 pump gas)

Nice Forum!

Thanks, Mike

I am gonna throw out a guess and say that stage 1 turbos and stage 1.5 turbos are capabale of making well over 800 whp, but given that the motor is stock, the power will be capped and one turbo will not make more power than the other at this build level. I went with the bigger turbos so I can be set up for a stage II/III in the future. Might as well do it now and get it done with so when time comes to build the motor, it's less of a job which means less time without the car.

Again, Kevin would be best to answer this question as I am just guessing here.

Decided to add a stage III clutch. I am now only a motor away from 1000 whp on pump and 1250 whp on race gas. Baby steps to the ultimate package, baby steps...=)

It's getting more difficult to sleep at night... :icon_thumleft:

Well, if you're changing your clutch and the bumper is out already and everything taped and disconnected it would be pretty easy to just drop that engine while everything else is going on. Would probably be back from being built by the time everything is ready to go back together. Really, you'd save so much in transportation cost and hassle . . . .

It will not cost me any more money to build the engine later versus now. The only additional cost I will have later is transportation, which is $1800 in total.

Remember, to build the motor it will be an additional $xx,xxx. Right now I need to replenish the sunken piggy bank. I'm no big dollar player like you guys.

I have a new built 560 stage 3 engine sitting on the floor looking for something to fall into. Haha

Perfect! Save it for me and we will put it in 9 months from now... :icon_mrgreen:

Kisco-I'm sure you itching to get it back. Soon I hope. You have some good skills to resist the pressure.

Kevin is pretty good at making things tempting. He does it with finesse, its kind of scary. Worked on me. Can't wait for my car to finally come back.

Thanks bro. All I want to do everyday is text kevin and ask him how far he has gotten with my build, to send me pics, and when I will get it back despite the fact that I can't drive it now anyways, LOL. I am proud of myself for holding back and not bugging him on the daily..=)

And yes, Kevin sure makes things tempting, but I will/must hold my ground on the built motor. I can handle the peer pressure, sex from my wife is more important.. :lol2:

I am looking forward to hearing about your upgrades. I am not exactly sure how you can make your car more bad ass than it is now.. :icon_thumleft:

It's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission. Besides, porn and some Kiehls makes an ok substitute in a pinch. :eusa_think:

Fadi should know that from the last pregnancy brotha! I am getting tendonitis in my freaking forearm from working out and overuse at home! :lol2:

Anyways-knowing my brotha Fadi-that motor will definitely be built. He is just being smart about it.
