Dario Report post Posted October 21, 2013 Which makes the fact that the Veneno is street legal US so cool. Probably since the Aventador J they're tried to improve the projects.. as Pagani has done with the Huayra.
SingleSeat Report post Posted October 22, 2013 Although, I get the feeling that no one in Italy would really care if a rare/one-off Lamborghini wasn't legal to drive there. More power to 'em.

Dario Report post Posted October 22, 2013 Although, I get the feeling that no one in Italy would really care if a rare/one-off Lamborghini wasn't legal to drive there. More power to 'em. Here before to buy these kind of cars people care about: 1- Insurance costs 2- Year tax to pay for that car 3- Fuel cost 4- Financial police's check 5- Financial police's check 6- Financial police's check When the Reventòn came out, i was at Bologna motor show. I met Winkelmann and i asked him if one of the 20 Reventòns were going to be sold in Italy. He said that one Reventòn was built for an italian customer, after some months i read on the web that the car has been sold out of the Italy, maybe in UK if i'm not wrong. Same for the Reventòn Roadster, i saw the delivery in Milan but then the car was registered with swiss' license plate. In Italy people are looking for small supercars because they try to be hidden to do not have checks If a person under 25 years old need an insurance for a little car like Fiat 500 or a Smart, he will pay a lot, sometimes the costs is more than 1200€. Assman Report post Posted October 22, 2013 I've read Italy's socialist taxation policies are absurd and really hinder any reason to be industrious.
Dario Report post Posted October 22, 2013 I've read Italy's socialist taxation policies are absurd and really hinder any reason to be industrious. it's not always bad but people try to avoid this kind of issues! There are a lot of high taxes, in an European countries list, Italy is always the last or near the end of the list, that's why cars like Veneno will be never seen here as private cars. medici78 Report post Posted October 22, 2013 RB, you definitely did well going with the coupe. I see no value in a pure Roadster like the Veneno. Some might argue that an Atom or Cobra (replica) are in the same boat, but to the masses they are still "attainable". A Lambo Roadster is another matter, thus my issue is the attention. After owning a Murci Roadster, I learned that you are subject to massive attention at all times if the roof is off. With a coupe the attention is on the car. With the Roadster, not only do they look at the car but everyone wants a look at the guy who is driving. I can only imagine how many notches it would be turned up in a Veneno. Sadly, I got so tired of it, I had the roof on the Roadster 80% of the time, even on nice weather days since I used the car quite often. The Veneno Roadster could have been a winner out of the gate using the roof panels like the Aventador. But after a few outings I'm sure the owners who will actually drive their cars will end up commissioning a custom roof, which should have come from the factory to begin with. I'll take a higher degree of privacy in a coupe than having my mug showing up on Instagram driving a multi-million $$$ hyper-exotic at every red light. Aventador22 Report post Posted November 6, 2013 That has the red trim, if I recall correctly he has the Verde trimmed one on order. I think this one is going to Lambo Long Island!
LamboCARS Report post Posted November 6, 2013 from https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=52543...178887340199327 Take a closer look at this one ... it has the red trim along the edges and a red brake caliper ... but it looks like there is only a white stripe on the side instead of the TriColore stripes seen on the Veneno show car. Also looks like the exterior rear view mirrors are replaced by Aventador units ... probably to keep it all street legal I guess. RB : yours does have the tricolore on the side no ? LamboCARS Report post Posted November 6, 2013 Also, I have a question about indicator. Is it okay to keep white indicator in the U.S.? I expected Orange & Red one. Rear side indicator is red in fact, probably the front one has an orange 'bulb' which would make it legal ? Third Veneno has white brake calipers by the way : Also looks like this one also has the tricolore stripes ... and all three production Veneno have the Aventador rear view mirrors

The picture has not big resolution so it looks white but it's a tricolor stripe. As you can see in the picture, there are white lines up and down the tricolor so if your're far from the car it looks white with low resolution:
