megachad Report post Posted January 6, 2018 My first time using GDAX: I was on the BTC/USD page and sent a deposit. Clicked the deposit button on the BTC/USD page. Did this automatically buy BTC or did it go into my account as usd? Cause I think I'm down $400 this morning and I don't even know why. Thought it was going into my USD wallet. Cause I have't bought anything specific (btc, eth) WTF does that mean? I was charged no fee, so I couldn't have been sold BTC how did you transfer your funds into coinbase? cc, ach, or wire? last time i did ach it took 7 days for the funds to show up in my usd. GDAX doesn't allow CC. Only bank transfer and wire. Coinbase will allow CC.

Blacksun Report post Posted January 6, 2018 I my opinion, alternately with Tron, if you have a member with 6billion plus coins, those coins are actually not helping reflect the real value of the coin.. At some point in time you want them in circulation. If 3 guys kept all 22million bitcoin.. it's value would still be worthless.. At some point the owners of the coins do need to sell most of their holdings so the coin becomes part of the market. In Tron's case, it doesn't bode well the way it was done if this is correct information. I had 55,000 tron.. I kept 5,000 just in case. I'll stop rambling.. What are others thoughts and opinions on this? The only reason I haven't dumped TRX yet is because of a tweet that Justin put out on Thurs stating that they were going to announce a partnership "with a very prestigious public company next week". Who knows what that looks like and it might be all hype. If the above is all true on TRX, then it could obviously ruin them. Like Roman said, got a couple thousand of each really cheap, if it dies then oh well, but if it goes big! Call me crazy, but i see LTC getting close to ETH in the near future. Gonna have to buy one of these soon: http://www.alphaindustries.com/mens-flight...mber-jacket.htm Really hope you are right about LTC, just for the sake of my buddy. He's terrible at this. He lost a lot buying LTC when it dipped in the 300 range. Also sold ETH @ 300 to break even lol

Call me crazy, but i see LTC getting close to ETH in the near future. Exactly the same for me. LTC will definitely hit ETH levels by end of Q1 in my opinion and higher by year end. TRX founder said this: "The Reddit account is not my account and also foundation account. It belongs to our private investor and market maker. We don't have an account in @GeminiDotCom. The market maker uses an account to trade and increase the liquidation of #TRX not sell $TRX."
sl55 Report post Posted January 6, 2018 FYI regarding the Ledger Nano S. Moral of the story is buy directly from the manufacturer, do not buy from Amazon/eBay. I wouldn't even trust resellers. Here's where we find out how he was scammed. The scam Ledger Nano (bought on Ebay) came with a "scratch off" paper, to reveal the seed words. With a real Ledger Nano, the seed words are generated by the device. The person lost £25000. https://np.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/commen...stolen/ds8khhw/ Some other people have come across the same scam: https://np.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/commen..._ledger_nano_s/ https://np.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/commen...nano_s/dqvdulw/ Picture of the fake "scratch off" paper with seed words. https://imgur.com/a/pw9L0

HannibalACP82 Report post Posted January 7, 2018 Binance is closed. Coinbase I was able to register for but my VPN had dropped and it thinks I am in the UAE. Won't accept my passport so I am currently SOL. Still enjoying reading the updates. Maybe one day I'll get in and drop some small coin on a few cryptos. I'd rather have it sitting in CB than my savings account. Never know how long it will take to get money into your acccount or if they will ever freeze that option for some reason. I do not believe for one moment that the Fed's would back it, while conveniently printing their own money.
