Is anyone in the BITCOIN market?

once on the BTC segwit chain the speeds are faster and fees are much lower.... make sure you destroy and recover it successfully before moving big money to it...

The Nano S was pretty easy to set up. I tried a test transfer of BTC from a digital wallet to the nano and it's still "pending" - so I'm at the mercy of the processing speed of the digital wallet. Transfer started at 11:18 and finished at 11:46. The rub is that the transfer fee cost about $20 on $1500 of BTC. So, now I have to decide between keeping it in a digital wallet or digital vault for free vs transferring back and forth to a hardware device.

My initial sense is that for a long hold on 1 BTC or more I'd keep it on the Nano S. But for fractional shares that I may be actively trading into other currency I'll probably keep it digital to avoid the fees. I don't like feeling as if the casino is charging me for cashing in my chips.

Just setup BINANCE account finally... need to get up on that XRP. LOL...

Curious, for VERIFICATION: I submitted the info requested, and photos. When I hit submit, it simply finish, and redirected me back onto the home page (dashboard). No confirmation, or status. Is that right? Does verification just randomly FINISH soon there after? Or should I be seeing some status or confirmation pending notice anywhere?

Thanks!

I'm the one that started this thread and because of the EXACT same problem you had, is the reason I don't have another couple 2-$3,000,000 more in my bank because the dam verification wouldn't work.

Heck I've been working on another exchange for about 3 months now and they can't verify me either. They all suck at this part. I was able to get another account setup earlier this year but I just wanted to try to have a couple options.

Verifying is a pain in the rear. I'm either waiting for a decade to get verified, or I am running into technical glitches and can't get verified. All this crap is costing me money.

Now that we have figured out how to buy Ripple....has anyone tried to. Cash any out? Easiest, cheapest way?

Easiest way is convert the XRP to BTC and sell the BTC on bitstamp or use a local exchange.

LIVECOIN has been awesome as well. a lot like binance, but I can get into pivx super easy there. As well as a lot of other coins.

if you want to open an account here is a referral link

https://livecoin.net/?from=Livecoin-W1PbFDh8

fees are reasonable and it works great.. I exhanged ETH for PIVX..

Once you have pivx make sure to transfer it into your PIVX wallet. The more coins you own the more you can stake.

Pivx is a lot like Monero.. Extremely private coin.

My current holdings. Trying to diversify.

Bch

Litecoin

Eth

Pivx (heavy on pivx) Tripled in value since I started watching it and 2.5x since I invested. I think it's an $80 coin by end of next year.

Ripple

Monero

Substratum (maybe a lottery ticket minimal invested)

Dash

Pivx? just go to https://pivx.org/wallet/ and download it onto your computer? it's a computer based wallet. Once you have coin in your wallet you can encrypt it with a passcode etc.

Ok... fine...

Its a pain in the ass process. Step 1 have a coinbase account. (I bet you do) Step 2. Have some coins in it (I bet you do) Step 3. Make an account on gatehub (this takes five minutes) and it will create an XRP wallet, or if you have a hardware wallet that should work too. Step 4. Make a changelly account. Now you have all the chess pieces lined up, time to move them. Get your XRP wallet address from gatehub. Go to changelly and figure out your conversion from one coin (BTC, ETH or LTC whichever one you feel like spending out of coinbase) . Initiate the exchange through changelly. Put in the XRP wallet destination address and it will give you an address to send your payment to from coinbase.

Point two... everybody who’s having trouble getting their new crypto accounts up and running and complaining about the time it takes... yeah... I feel your pain... when I set mine up I think it took two fcuking weeks... when nobody was talking about this shit.... here’s the lesson. Getting anything you want it is easier before everyone else wants it too.

Point three... I bought a ledger nano s hardware wallet ~2 actually~ for a package price of like $120 on amazon last week... I went to my orders last night to see when it would arrive. The order is gone... poof.... not there... so I went to buy again... the 2nano package deal is now $250. Surprise. Ledger blues that were going for $400 a week ago are sold out everywhere and going for $1000 on eBay.

My prediction ~. Bitcoin hits 25k... etherium hits 1000. Litecoin hits 500. All before New Years rocking eve with Kathy griffin and sinbad.

And long term. Ripple could go higher than any of them.

Roman I'm curious if you're referring to market cap or coin price for Ripple when you say that it could go higher than any of them....

Market cap I am sure.. with the amount of coins available, it would take trillions invested into ripple to exceed others higher.

However over time we never know which coin might actually be the most widely used, and if it becomes ripple, then the others would probably drop substantially. I still don't see the coin price being higher than the others however. Just too many coins available.

38billion of them now with cap of 100b... thats dramatically more than 22 million bitcoin.

Can't believe XRP is at $2+. I remember back in June everyone was calling this crap coin, too bad for all the people who didn't buy into Ripple!

Ripple is at $2.85. It just seems high right now. I has almost half the market cap of bitcoin. Wonder if it is time to sell and take some profits or keep riding it?

Thoughts?

I read it was a Silicon Valley capital venture firm (someone found the account name) but who really knows 100% because couple weeks ago someone transferred 900m or some crazy number like that between accounts. Rumors started flying it was a large bank which was gearing up for a big announcement but turned out it with Ripple shifting money around from Escrow.

A lot of stuff gets posted daily on reddit and other private forums for the purpose of a pump and dump so I take everything with a grain of salt unless it comes from an official source.

Any truth to xrp coming to coinbase? I think that will cause it to go up a good bit since it will be more accessible

All rumors at this stage but seeing how much XRP has gained in the last quarter I think there's a good chance it'll be added. Predictions right now if added to CB is XRP will go up between $5-$10 but it's really anyone's guess because XRP was suppose to go up to $2 by end of 2018.

I wouldn't - its rising while others are falling - good sign. It's now on people's radar - good sign. The coins up and down from it have huge comparative values. (BTC, ETH)

The problem I see with it reaching $5 or $10 is that the market capitalization would make it double what bitcoin is. The things does NOTHING for 4 years. Now it goes up 10 times in value and in one month is worth double bitcoin. Something just doesn't add up.
