Gilligan740 Report post Posted September 25, 2013 Local and national media outlets are reporting that the Columbus Police HQ in downtown Columbus, Ohio has been evacuated after a reported explosion. Our local municipal bus system has been used to evac everyone from the building to some other location. No injuries have been reported. Fox News story here. I snapped the photo below from the rooftop at my new office, just 1.5 blocks away from the building. The helicopter has been circling the building for about 2 hours now. The media is not reporting this but the building is currently under construction. Hopefully this was just a gas leak or something innocent like that. CPD HQ is the building with the green roof.
