This game will cement Mannings legacy..he needs to win it. I like both teams but def pulling for the broncos. Also, the two best uniforms in the NFL lol.

:iamwithstupid: but either way this should be a incredible game!

Sherman will be on fire!

I'm a Broncos fan because I'm a Peyton fan, but I'm really concerned about this game. Not so much Denver's O v. Seattle's D, which has gotten most of the press coverage. I think Peyton will do ok and Denver will score at least 24. What worries me is Seattle's O v. Denver's D. I don't like that matchup at all.

Same here. I lived in Indy when Peyton started. When they went from 2-11 to 11-2. I went to a preseason game Peyton's first year when the Chargers came to the RCA dome and beat the Colts and Ryan loser Leaf was showboating.

The temps in the 50's favor Peyton. I think he'll come out slow against that defence and study it, look for holes. Hopefully once he gets a read he gets en fuego and doesn't get lit up with interceptions.

we had our Met Life VP here yesterday and he said the exposure/marketing that they have received already has been off the charts. (and the game hasn't even started yet)

Well, there's two ways to look at it:

Close score, going late into the game could favor Seattle. Lynch has tended to run stronger in the 2nd half of games, and it's hard to tell whether it's a groove thing or halftime adjustments. Often times, physical power running teams tend to break off bigger runs later in games than early.

But if Denver happens to get into a groove and take a nice lead (say 14 points midway through the 3rd), then absolutely Seattle's offensive dynamic changes a ton. If you make Lynch a non factor by not using him, then Wilson is less than stellar. He's no better than the other young QBs like Luck, Kaepernick, Griffin.....he's just had a more consistent running game this year behind him. He will get his lucky one or two deep throws based on scrambles.

Seattle will absolutely score points, but the notion that they are gonna drop 40 points on Denver is silly. Depending on the balls of Pete Carroll they may attempt to play more ball control offense anyways to keep Peyton off the field. Knowing the cockiness of the Seahawks, they probably won't give him that much respect and will do whatever they feel like doing.

Denver's defense this postseason did a 180 from late in the regular season.

Only two days left of speculation.

Any of you guys placing bets?

There's a prop bet I do every year and I'm 3/3. Always bet the National Anthem time OVER. It's the biggest stage in the world and the singers always hold their notes forever to prove to the world they can sing. This year it's apparently some singer who has a background in opera. I believe the over is 2:25 mins. I'm betting it!

I have Denver winning, I took the over, and took the parlay.

I hate how the Seahawks beat my 9ers, so go Denver :icon_mrgreen: . Not a Pete Carroll fan either. Can't wait for Sunday!

What a boring Super Bowl. I fast forwarded though the game and waited for the commercials. And they werent even that good. The Budweiser one with the puppy and the horses was the best.

I think Percy Harvin Will be a factor in Seattle's win. I think Defense wins championships. Seattle is clearly the better D.

If i recall they played each other for a half in the preseason 40-10 , the first half was all starters for both teams and Manning got destroyed. I think with weather being bad/cold Manning will be at a huge disadvantage. Wilson can run and create plays manning is a standing statue.

I see Seattle winning this.

BOOM. won some money.

Damn, I didn't win any bet :lol2:

Funny, I was placing bets with my brother in law last minute and told him "a safety isn't going to happen in the super bowl, the teams are too good". Low and behold, a f*king safely the first play.

Our $100 would have been $6k. Damn, glad I talked him out of it :lol2: .

Broncos :crybaby2: took them 3 quarters to get the points Seattle had in the first 2 minutes of the game. Had to take adderall for this one. Then Vodka to come down! :lol2:

Worst bets for me: Golden Tate, first reception of the game; Manning for a run in TD for the Bronco's first TD. Crazy odds, obviously for a reason!

In the end, its supposed to make watching the game more enjoyable, but this game was over from the first snap!

Very surprised how Denver stopped Seattle's run game. Denver's defense was on point early on, but their offense just wasn't clicking! It was very strange to me, its like it was opposite day!

Time to pass out! Goodnight everyone :).

At least that friend of my sister won part of a million bucks in the Doritos contest.

Very nice!!

Boring game, props to Seattle though.

Yeah, gotta give credit where credit is due. Even to the enemy. :icon_mrgreen:

Haha....49ers in Super Bowl 49? I like the ring of it. Plus you know they can't possibly win or even play in 50 since they host that game, and you know the history of host cities....

So the whole Denver >> Seattle thing....I leaned on Denver most of the way thinking they were above getting punched in the mouth, but yeah.....that very possibility did happen and how brutal it was when it happened. Those games with Kansas City in the regular season, they already were no longer such a physical defense anymore. It might have helped had they played the KC teams with nasty defense instead of the soft defense the second half of the season. Maybe.

That safety at the beginning....WTF?? I've never seen a football game ever start like that in 25 years of watching. Extremely ominous even if only 2 points. Then the way Kam Chancellor rocked Demaryius Thomas on that crossing route, and how that offense had to scrape for every inch.....you kinda knew Seattle was gonna win the game right then and there.

Where Peyton Manning needs to be brought down a few notches is that he is flummoxed too easily when a good pass rush is there, and when he's outside his comfort zone he loses a ton of composure and can't improvise much (plus he isn't exactly mobile). Those first two interceptions are inexcusable. It's ok to go game manager when the going is tough early on. Joe Montana used to have games where he looked average the first three quarters and then became hall of fame in the fourth.

Peyton forced some balls and that momentum swing was too much. Plus Denver's defense got exposed as being ordinary when they weren't carrying a lead.

Don't want to take away credit from Seattle.....it appears they would have won this game regardless, but the blowout is on PM, IMHO.

The guy is not equipped for the big moment like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers. The regular season accomplishments have clouded judgment.

Seattle was obviously the better team last night by a long shot, but what the hell was up with the crowd noise when Denver had the ball?? It sounded like they were playing in Seattle! The crowd noise apparently played a role in the first snap safety, and after that Denver went silent count with Peyton doing one leg raise and snapping the ball. So the crowd took all his gesticulating and play changing away right off the bat. I don't think that cost Denver the game by any means, but I don't recall hearing a SB crowd that sounded like a home crowd for one of the teams--did the entire city of Seattle fly east or what?
