tpamurci Report post Posted April 4, 2014 One of the buttons on my '03 instrument cluster has broken and popped out. The button itself has two tabs and one has broken off so no way to repair it. Anyone have a source for replacement buttons? I'd even take a plain one with no label for something completely unrelated if it would fit. Dealer says you can only order some part # that would result in a ~$700 bill for part + labor just to replace one five cent button. Unrelated; the other buttons in center console and on the door handles are getting that old Lambo funky sticky issue; it's starting to happen in my gallardo too. Any advice on how to clean that off without ruining them?

PoKnow Report post Posted April 4, 2014 Those buttons are crazy expensive. I put a dab of glue in the middle where it contacts the actual button and it works just fine. Use googone on the sticky buttons. Put some muscle behind it and the rubber coating will come right off.

My skills are barely above novice when it comes to tools; I've replaced the battery on my Murci and Gallardo but not much beyond that. Those buttons are crazy expensive. Will try; thanks

I need the 2nd one from the left (can't remember off-hand which one that is).

Just dab some super glue at the center and it's done.
