Odyssey Report post Posted May 12, 2014 This is a 2008 Gallardo with a little over 5k miles. There is a major leak spraying power steering fluid every time I use the front lift on the car. I removed the panel (see attached image) and noticed it is coming from the box that sits just right of the fluid reservoir. I have circled the box in the attached file. Please help as I have searched the internet and this forum and there is no mention of this specific problem. Most leaks involving the lift system are related to shocks/struts but this is not the case with my car. I added fluid and tried several times and noticed the leak is in the area shown in attached file. I did another test yesterday and made sure fluid is at max level there was no leak but lift system was struggling and making noticeable humming noise when engaged. I live in the Northwest Houston,TX. area...anyone know a good mechanic. Dealership is last resort. Any suggestions on how I could fix this myself would also be appreciated.
