If that 132 is correct, that is moving out!

It's 100% correct with a passenger on board, and this is only the base model running pirelli's low grip tires.

It's very close or as fast as the 650S and the Speciale the top of tree from its direct competitors and it still wears the fat suit, bring on the Superleggera, more aggressive styling, less weight, more power :icon_thumleft:

the criticism in this article is rather worrying i must say...

only the title already states; compared to the gallardo a serious improvement, compared to the competitors: very oldskool : hard and extreme. goes on saying bad stuff about the comfort: seats too hard, no bagage space, no head space, hard to get out, noise making centre console when driving, lower fuel efficiency; uses more fuel, weight not lighter (i thought lambo said the weight was +/- 1400kg???)

it goes on : higher buying price (compared to the gallardo or competitors it doesnt say) - HUGE maintenance costs - yearly inspection needed - active dampers is optional

what to think of this ?

No issues for me, I see most as positives, I like the fact that's old school, hard and extreme, I don't intend to DD the car therefore I am ok with it being uncomfortable and having harder seats, my favorite seats were the carbon buckets in my 570, I don't care about storage, if it has the same amount as the Gallardo it's plenty for what I use the car for, I've traveled around Italy with Daddyo and had sufficient room for all our luggage, I am of average height so head room is plenty for me, easy to get in and out, fuel, maintenance costs is a non issue, you shouldn't buy a Lambo or an expensive toy if that represents a concern, the only issue I have with is the weight but this is a full trim car so I'll have to accept that until the SL gets here.

Excuse me, so the guys who liked the car before and are hesitant now, because of the article, the weight, or 132 numbers ... ?

Either lose some weight, don't ride with your chubby girlfriend, or ____ (fill the blanks)

If "new school" means the Mac MP4, 650, Ferrari 458, MB SLS, 997 and even the Aventador, then I don't mind old school at all. Raw & extreme, that's what Lamborghini is all about. I don't recall ANY supercar being comfortable, have good luggage space and headroom, easy to get in/out, fuel efficient etc... The Ferrari FF checks some but not all these boxes but we all know how ugly that looks.

ditto here. those who complains need to grow some balls or start taking viagra.

why hasn't there been a direct comparison with 458 and 650s with Huracan? 458 is an outgoing model. Its replacement will have turbos so Huracan will be the last of the NA supercar under $300k.

So is this faster than an Aventador?

It could be, the Gallardo in most instances was faster than the Murcielago.

Straight-line acceleration --- doubtful

Around the track --- quite possible

Sounds pretty good to me, also. I'm not a prima-donna !!

no chance it will be close as as fast as the 650S, it won't even beat the 12C.... either way, good numbers for the Huracan... in the drag strip test (not an instrumented test) we're looking at high 10's at 129-130 MPH....

I generally dislike assumptions and prefer to reserve judgment until I have first hand experience so I say let's just wait and see what happens when owners get their paws on the cars.

Fortis is it possible to order in Verde Scandal?

That's an out of range color only available via the Ad Personam program which is only available from 2015.

Please see attached the color chart available for orders placed now.
