Chipster Report post Posted October 23, 2014 It can't go 240 for long, unless there is a fueling jet flying along with it. Lol
Fabspeed_Motorsport Report post Posted October 23, 2014 Wheels look sweet......... I know Bugatti went through some MAJOR R&D with wheels, tires and stems. If it's the wrong stem apparently the tire deflates when running near top speed. The Veyron, unlike most of these "I can go 240mph" cars, is that VAG designed it to go 240+mph for extended periods of time. Heavy car in warm climate going that fast will delaminate most tires. 95% of ppl will never get to that point, so if they wany better looking or more unique wheels, I'm sure they will be fine. Odds are they will keep the OEM wheels and tires anyways for resale. Plus for driving around town, I'd rather kill 3K worth of rubber the 30. actually, from what I recall the guys at Miller Motorcars telling me, the tires will only last for something like 15 minutes at top speed.. so not that long haha. and It'd run out of gas before the 15 minutes. OEM wheels are staying as well.
