Aardvark Report post Posted November 14, 2015 Hi all, Thanks for looking at this topic. I have one fob that works and one new fob that needs to be programmed, I know there is a topic that shows how to program but found mine didn't work or respond to it. I am concerned about trying again and "damaging" the only fob that works (i.e. make it so that the old one won't work anymore) then what? Has anybody tried anything different with success? I could take to dealer but that is 4 hours drive away from here and isn't open on weekends. Anyone have experience with this? djantlive Report post Posted November 14, 2015 Programming the new key won't erase your old key Your new key is specifically for Gallardo and brand new right?
dallas Report post Posted November 14, 2015 Hi had the same issue and the dealership was the only one that could program it. On a side note, is your car wrapped and if so do you have any pics? Looks great.

FormulaGT Report post Posted December 11, 2015 If by programming you mean "unlock/lock" it's just a turn of the key to accessory and hold both unlock/lock buttons. Do it 3 times then remove and test. You have to do this anytime the battery is pulled. Just did it to install my steeringwheel yesterday.
B. Vuong Report post Posted December 14, 2015 I ordered a new key because when I bought my car it only came with one. The dealer charged me $150 to program.
