picked up a new Model S P90D with Ludicrous mode.... 0-60 MPH in just 2.8 seconds and running low 11's in the 1/4 mile, supposed to run 10's but I'm not seeing that yet, maybe a software update soon...

VBOX Data:

0-60 MPH: 2.82 seconds

0-100 MPH: 7.46 seconds

1/4 Mile: 11.26 @ 118.7 MPH

put some lighter wheels on from http://pulsespeed.com

Beautiful! Are there any other ways to lose weight on these cars? I would think an aftermarket set of brakes might free up some weight but not sure where you would get them from. Hope to see some updates soon!

there is a company working on a ceramic brake kit... but not many other places.... no pano roof would save some weight.... but at 4,900+ pounds, it really doesn't make that much of a difference...

Before recharging?

I did the math, and a full battery is good for roughly 200 launches 0-60 (assuming no usage between launches).

Performance degrades as battery gets closer to 0% though.

It's 3.0x without rollout...

What was 0-60 without rollout? Stupid of Tesla to use numbers without rollout on all the cars except the P's :eusa_naughty:

That is very impressive.

Awesome! 0-60 on the BMW i8 is reported st 3.8 but I've only pulled a 4.9 in the i8 (without launch control). Did 12.5 60-130 in the i8. Did you do a 60-130?

I did, it's painful as it takes sooo long, but it did 60-130 in 11.6 seconds....

should have mine in a couple weeks....

Saw you have a ModelX on order.

Are the X's going to be nearly as quick as the S's?
