05LSV Report post Posted January 24, 2016 Considering selling my car as not only am I not driving it as much as I want, but nothing else is really floating my boat at the moment to trade it for. Since I'm not in a big hurry, if I listed it i would do private sale or put it online - no reason to get hammered by a dealer just to get rid of it. Anyways, curious as to what you guys think this car is worth. Seems like '08 coupes have a pretty wide range depending on mileage and of course, who's selling (dealer or individual). 2008 Gallardo - 27k miles Nero/Nero - yellow stitching and piping Larini Exhaust ECU tune MACarbon carbon fiber door sills with yellow script Westwind European carpet mats with yellow script New P-zero tires (prob 90% now) Clear bra on front hood and lower bumper cover Built-in Escort radar with front and rear sensors Equipment and options Black callisto wheels with yellow calipers CI badge on wheels Clear bonnet Carbon I package Branding package Travel Package Perforated leather Factory Navigation Electric and heated seated Rearview camera Leather headliner Service I have all records since car was new. I'm only the second owner. New e-gear hoses about 3 years ago, new alternator and drive belt about 6 months ago, and fresh 30k service. Original clutch is 55% worn. Overall thoughts? sprite Report post Posted January 24, 2016 I would think somewhere around 110-120.
05LSV Report post Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks for your opinion Sprite. How do you think the low-ish clutch affects that number? I was thinking $110-120k territory myself, but I don't know how realistic the higher end of that range really is.
Odyssey Report post Posted January 25, 2016 I would agree with the 110 to 120k range but more realistically 110k due to mileage and clutch at 55%. I am also curious I have the same car 08 Giallo Midas in 6 speed manual...any ideas what its worth...has 10k miles. Thanks in advance. There is the orange 6 speed coupe 08 just listed for 119, so I would guess both of these are closer to

I'm sure @ 105 you would sell it quick, but since you're not in a rush I'd just list it and see what kind of offers you get. The car looks good but you have to compete with spyders and 560s for not much more money. On the other hand 04/05s have been 80-100 for a long time so it should be worth more than that. This is exactly the strange part. How can an '04 go for $90-95 and an '08 be worth only $110? I know the market will dictate, but it's strange. Why would anyone buy a 4 year older car when they could get the benefits of the 08 (or even 07 for that matter) for just a few grand more? 05LSV Report post Posted January 25, 2016 As the price drops even incrementally the buyer pool get that much larger. But if someone is in the market to spend $90k-$95k on car that presumably isn't a daily driver, wouldn't they also be in the position to spend another $10-$15k for a much newer car in terms of features, improvements, and reliability? I know you're right, it's just weird that so few dollars separate the 4 model years of pre-LP Gallardos.
05LSV Report post Posted January 25, 2016 After reading the thread posted by the "montana2583" dude or whatever his name is trying to buy the 04 Gallardo from the shady dealer, I'm seeing some additional value in my car, being that it's been driven well, serviced well, and overall, I'm a good guy. I think I'll ask $140k for it. lolololol
