whiteout Report post Posted February 17, 2016 In case some of you haven't been monitoring the aftermarket, they are jumping in with the Gen 5 Dodge Viper. There are already 1400 rwhp cars out there. Twin-turbo systems, Procharger F1X kits, Paxon NOVI2000 kits, and even heads/cam packages developed by the company that builds the engines for Dodge (Arrow Racing). Yesterday at a Viper event, Andy Wheeler set a new record in his car. First one to run 9s on motor. The best part about it? All parts were dealership installed by Tomball Dodge (aka ViperExchange.com) and the car still has a warranty. 2015 Dodge Viper GT Arrow Racing ported factory heads Arrow Racing cam (retains VVT) Arrow Racing custom tuned PCM ARH long tube headers and catback Underdrive crank pulley Hoosier 335/18 drag radials and runners on CCW 18" wheels. McLeod RXT clutch 3,390 lbs raceweight +991' Density Altitude (73F) Other timeslips from the day. Very consistent. 140 traps NA! Chipster Report post Posted February 17, 2016 Andy's car looks great and the performance is there for sure. The oil consumption issues do have me concerned as a potential buyer even though they would be covered by warranty. All that on an ACR would be nuts. At least they are being proactive about it. Good on Dodge
