Nuvolari612 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Here's a thread one mine. http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...&hl=Easy888 I've since added the Capristo headers and S-Line exhaust system. Never raced a 458 but I'd doubt at this point in my life that I care about what's faster. If it's a fun car to drive then that does it for me. Looks fantastic not a typical Scud - great spec! Suggestion if you haven't had it done - headers titanium wrapped saves the CF from the engine heat which causes the Cf have a milky look. Capristo S-line sounds great. Nuvolari612 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Scud is a beautiful car. While aging, it still remains as a top choice of my acquisition list. I hope you find more owners to share the experience. Thanks. Agree the Scud is finally getting the credit it deserves.
Nuvolari612 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 I can send you multiple 16Ms for sale for 295 right now, hell there are probably 2 on ebay. Any car over 300K is on consigment, which means shit. There are guys trying to sell Pirelli Aventadors on consignment for 50K over sticker with miles, lol. Maybe your location was showing you higher prices? Or are you in the US right now. Depends on miles spec - why doesn't consignment mean anything. All cars especially Ferrari's are not equal - some are well maintained some aren't. CCB's Clutch Bad Carbon Fiber ... excluding mileage those are worth 15k a pop. !6M's had a few issues - some tops folded backwards some owners left the top down while in storage many if not all had bad cf that was recalled also common is the front light fogging - 5k each. Nuvolari612 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 i had a 16m for a weekend and had a blast! this one had a tubi and sounded like a F1 car! The can sound amazing especially with the top down. Will you go to FLL and pick up my FF and drive it to STL. May be flying down this week and drive it back - have no idea why other than why not. LA_Brit Report post Posted March 21, 2016 5 on eBay all at 400k. Granted 6 are with just three dealers and likely to be on consignment: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-430-16M-SC...em=381572066921 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-430-Scuder...em=201544222064 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-430-16M-Sp...em=201544222641 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-Other-Spid...em=111887786602 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-Other-Spid...em=111931111984 Two on auto trader: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/ve...05073&Log=0 http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/ve...72325&Log=0 Two on Hemmings: http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer...30/1785052.html http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer...30/1785053.html My favorite out of all of the ones for sale: http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/listin...er--16m/1417898 So out of 10 none are listed below 398k - i'd be surprised if they were trading $100k below that. Holy crap bids are at 470k with 6 days left. I love my 16M but had no idea they went this far up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-430-16M-Sp...em=201544222641
LA_Brit Report post Posted March 21, 2016 I wouldn't get excited about bids on eBay...however my quick links do show the market is definitely at 400k listing prices.
ts640 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Six of those cars have been for sale for over a year. Your favorite is my favorite. I get my information from FoNE, Algar, Miller. A few might trade hands that high, but in the past six months most have traded hands for significantly less. I'd gladly have the market go up on 16Ms. More often than not, at least for the past month or so, that red 470 car has bids but never sells. galt Report post Posted March 22, 2016 Exactly this. The 360CS and the 458 Speciale/Ap are significantly better over all. The 360CS is more visceral, and the 458 Speciale is just superb. The 16M is a limited Ferrari that depreciated, that's all you need to know. The 458 SAp's are trading for crazy money. The CS, 599 GTO also depreciated. As did many other limited Ferrari's (not to mention the CGT). Further, you have to remember the car came out in 2008/2009 when the global economy was nowhere... I think picking cars "future winners" based on if they depreciated at some point in their life cycle would have you missing lots of hits right?
