Looking for information on the Breguet clock option. Anyone out there know how to remove the Breguet clock from it's green leather case? How do you wind it? What is the 4th arm for on the clock face, is it a stopwatch?

Thanks in advance.

Did you buy the one that was for sale recently?

I always thought the number on the right lower side of the clock was the actual chassis number of the Diablo this clock was ordered for.

Only saw one in real life many years ago.

No, I've had mine for over a year now.

Did you buy the one that was for sale recently?

Here is a pic of the clock in it's display case.

Was there ever a consensus how many Diablos came with it OEM?

Also, was it just '91, or other model years?

I've seen it on a few Roadsters and it was fitted to the RHD VT-R in 1996.

This was a rare option.

Just awesome.

And wow, seems like current value is $10K.

Looking to the OP question, from an internet search:

4th hand is a stop watch/ chronograph....upper button by the # 1 starts it.

Winding....lower knurled button by the # 7 is the winder.

I do not see how to remove from display box or install/ remove from dash.

I do not see that the serial number on the case references the chassis number.

Anyway, great item....I personally am looking forward to more info about it in this thread.

I have one.

My research says there were about 50 made, but many of those have broken over the years. If you are looking to buy one, ask for a video of it working.

I never installed it in my Diablo, never got the installation kit for it either.

There are 2 threaded holes on the side to hold it in place.

I also believe Breguet made more than 1 version, as some of the movements seem to differ. Mine is a 4349 movement, but the one above is a 1596.

There is no Diablo chassis number on this clock ... and it says Breguet 3425 ... not 4349 or 1596 ... the plot thickens ... lol

This photo I had on my site a long time even has another number ...

Hello,

I have a Breguet clock from a Lamborghini Diablo we are interested in selling.  The car was bought new by a family member and the clock was removed when the car was sold at auction in the late 90's.  The clock has remained in a family safe for the last 20 years.  If anyone is interested please let me know.
