svoshop Report post Posted June 2, 2016 I can not thank Kevin and the entire crew at UGR for the hard work associated with my car. I simply swapped new plugs, and filled up with race fuel, and washed the car. That was all that was needed to make it "Race Ready" I will do my best to post this video... If anyone can help me, haha, I will gladly take you up on it. Mike

RIPPERTT Report post Posted June 3, 2016 Complete monster of a "manual" hot rod... Love it! Great driving Mike!!
svoshop Report post Posted June 3, 2016 What's so hard to understand, is that my car drives almost stock. Aside from a clutch that grabs a little when hot. It drives stock. Sure the exhaust can spit flames. Sure it goes 100-200 in around 6 seconds. It feels stock. I'm a car guy all the way. And I can't tell you enough how GREAT of a job UGR did with this build. It's the perfect street car. Stage 3 is amazing. This is just that extra little nudge that I needed. Drove it the other night on race fuel. With the A/C on and XM radio playing. Love, love, love , this car 😁 Mike

RIPPERTT Report post Posted June 3, 2016 That's good to hear the 1R has the same mannerisms as a Stage 3. People who've never been in one of these never "get it" til I take them for a ride. It's usually the older hot rod guys that have the misconception that the more power A car makes, the less street-able they become. A falsehood for a UR TT Lambo. So...How does the bump in power feel vs the Stage 3 ?
svoshop Report post Posted June 3, 2016 So...How does the bump in power feel vs the Stage 3 ? It's not a "bump" The power is much greater, the torque is much greater. I am 15MPH faster at the same track. If you are not going to do events. The stage 3 is fine. If you want to run the car, and be one of the faster cars there.... 1R or more is needed. I can not explain how much fun this car is to drive. Sadly, she only has 2800 miles on her currently. Mike

svoshop Report post Posted June 4, 2016 Great results! Time to reinforce that front bumper!! I noticed that the lower dam is flexing. Not really sure what I can do about that. I have to wonder if it is designed to do that ?
