Don't get me wrong, the 458 is an amazing car. I think one of the reasons I am liking the H more is that I was able to spec the H exactly as I wanted it. The 458 was an opportunity on a car that buyer backed out of and a bit dull ( titanium/black) compared to my boldly speced H. I find the H sport and race mode more aggressive than the 458 and feels quicker. While I found the sound of the 458 engine to be better, I like the exhaust note better on the H, especially when downshifting. The interior environment of the H is much more current and sporty and the electronics better in my opinion. I felt equally in control with both. Brake pedal would at times fade on the 458 which other owners have reported. I have no braking issues with the H. It's hard to explain but the H is more me than the 458.

Ordering Performante interior with laser engraving also gives you the option to add aluminum floormats, likely similar to those found in the SV.

 

Tempting, but I still prefer the Y design on the seats, and you lose those with the laser engraving and comfort seat combo.

if i'm not mistaken, that display actually shows in real time how the ALA (active aero) is working. kind of like their promo video that shows the air flow direction.

can anyone who has seen the loge/red central lock in person give any feedback as to what shade of red it is?

 

I am being told that is doesn't really match the rosso mars red very well. In fact Lamborghini would not let me order rosso mars red/red calipers/and loge/red central locking. They said that brake caliper red and centerlock red do not match well at all and would not let me spec that way. I asked for ad personam but said they don't have the time to test new colors. So I am trying to figure out exactly what shade of red we are talking about here. Red calipers with red centerlock going to look way off?

Attended the Perf preview event at LoV. The more I see this car the more I love it. Here's a few pictures from the event also have some rev clips I'll upload later.

Correct. The shade on the caliper is a different shade of red than the center lock. It is noticeable so be forewarned. Also, because the center lock is anodized, you cannot repaint or powder coat it to match you would likely need to match the calipers by refinishing those.

The same thing happened with the Aventador ... the orange brake calipers didn' t match Arancio Argos, so you couldn't order those together.

When you order the comfort seats with laser engraving do you still get the bicolor sportivo package also or just the basic interior package + laser engraving?

 

Yes I was told you either get laser engraving Or the "Y" on comfort seats, not both as in the sports seats.

I'm sure with Ad Personam and a wait time it may be a possibility.
