Griza Report post Posted December 30, 2016 So only watched the first episode of "Narcos" so far as have to say that I find it rather boring. That said though, something caught my attention: in the show, they say that nobody cared about all the people getting killed in Miami over the drug wars, that what got the U.S. government on the case of the cartels was all the money flowing out of America to Colombia. But then in the documentary, "Cocaine Cowboys," they said that the government didn't have a clue about how much cocaine was coming in (and I am assuming thus how much money was leaving), that what brought the heat on was all the people getting killed. So which is it? Narcos is a must watch..keep going and you will be binging till the wee hours of the night. I don't have an answer to your question, just keep watching! That's another show I tried watching the first episode of and found it very boring. I asked some people on forums about it, some said that if I didn't take to the first episode, I probably wouldn't find the series very interesting, others said that I need to watch more and get deeper into it before making a judgement. People didn't seem to like the second as much, but i think too many expected it to be a repeat of the first. It definitely wasn't. Season two was really good, just a different flavor.
