I didn't know he is now on top gear?

 

I would want Tiff Needell to join Chis Harris. Tiff is the man! Would be an epic show.

Tiff has been on Fifth Gear for ages and occasionally on Evo Magazine too.

But he is so old that he should stop track driving already. Starts to be hazard to others.

Some folks on Evo said that he is way past his mark.

Much much better than Grand Tour version.... Chris is the man

Needell is unwatchable. Early stage dementia my guess.

I am not feeling the show. And i was so excited when i heard the news. The second episode was just trash. I dont remember watching a car show that i wanted to end so quickly lol. Here are some of my issues about the show:

 

1) The track they use to test cars just looks weird. I cant put my finger on it but it just doesnt look right to me as dumb as that may sound.

 

2) The fat redneck driver they are using, just doesnt work. Him trying to be all "honky redneck" fitting the stereotype and making fun of everything that doesnt have an "american V8" is very bland.

 

3) Them killing celebrities approaching the tent on every show, i just dont get. Maybe its the dumb british comedy but i used to get the dry jokes in TG but just dont laugh at them here.

 

4) There is just not enough cars in my opinion and a lot of just fluff to fill that hour.

 

 

Anyways that is my rant for the morning. Maybe i am just an asshole and the only one that feels that way lol

That's what everyone thought. Some of us were happy with third episode, some think that it was also too lame, too scripted and very dull.

Back in the days that presenters (at least british) were not faking it and cars were properly fast, scary and exciting!

Loved the third episode. I really enjoy this show, even episode 2 which was kind of crap, but I still liked it.

Harry eats all the other journos alive.

Season 2 episode 1 is now available and it was great! It is the Aventador vs NSX vs Rimac episode.
