Its Lamborghini's way of bringing bang for the buck into the super car business... relatively speaking of course. lol
rmtn Report post Posted March 22, 2017 This is getting sooo old. Yep. Lamborghini did not fake it. They did it by those tires. Good naturally aspirated engine which does not heat soak nor lose battery power or efficience during lap. Also way better weight than 918 for example. And there actual working aero on car. That 750% increased aero means original did not have much and now, thanks to forcefeed rearwing etc they have working aero on car. Here is one video about this: We are still worlds apart from what speed they drove in 1983 in Nurburgring (not sure if that was same track configuration back then) and we are lacking even top speed from what they did in public streets in 1920-1930's. Numbers are not unbelievable.
VCR Report post Posted March 22, 2017 For those who broke the norm and the mould or rewrote the history and/or rules, they will always be met will skepticism and be labelled as fake, quackery and even swindler etc... The tires and Lambo's ALA made this happened and re-configuring part of the track likely played a minor role too. As we witnessed from another thread, people nowadays will do and say anything just to get their 3minutes of fame on the social media and/or say something controversial enough to click-bait people to watch their video and they profit from it. It's real; great if one is a believer; no big if one isn't. Time will tell all.

I completely agree, the 1st paragraph is perfectly on point, out of norm is always doubted by the average intellect combine that with the current "need for fame" and extremely easy access to a world wide audience it is very easy to tarnish everything and everyone without any real consequences or accountability.
