bigbrian Report post Posted March 21, 2017 I am a bigger guy (250lb bodybuilder) with a very wide back. The OEM seats in my 2015 Huracan are a too narrow for me especially the bolsters up top. I ordered a set of Technocraft T5 seats that should work given they are wide and supposedly very comfortable (even though they don't look comfy lol). I am looking for an Air Bag Seat canceller and I noticed BRIDE makes one but they doesn't specifically list Lamborghini although VW might work. Has anyone swapped out their OEM seats for aftermarket? If so which canceller did you go with? Brian

They made them for lp570 cars and I would guess are the same exact ones for the huracan. If not lambo should sell them as they fit sport seats in the huracan as well. If one buys the Lamborghini OEM sports seats, the airbag defeat plugs come with the seats but I don't think Lamborghini or its authorized agents will be willing to sell the plugs without the seats. Silly legal issues but it's DOT and the liability hurdles. They aren't too difficult to make though; essentially, you bridge a resistor with the correct impedance and that's basically it. I don't know the ohm value for the Huracan seats though and this isn't something to take a chance or guesstimate on.

I would assume these are the same as the R8 4.7 ohm resistors for the airbag, and passenger seat sensor "bladder" that plugs in that you put under the passenger seat pad I bought them from europrice for the R8, just about to install them

I sent a "Contact Us" inquiry to them as well. Any chance you have the part numbers that you ordered? I want to make sure I get the correct parts from them. Thanks! It's called a passenger occupancy sensor. I can't find the part on the Huracan diagrams

It's called a passenger occupancy sensor. I can't find the part on the Huracan diagrams I have been talking to Alexander at Europrice. Is there a part number on that yellow plug? Is there a part number on the occupancy sensor? What seats are you mounting in your car? Brian
bigbrian Report post Posted April 23, 2017 This is a 2015 Huracan seat disassembled. The item on the lower left is the passenger occupancy sensor connected to a VW ECU. The sensor is a very thin piece of material made by Body Sense: https://www.iee.lu/en/products/automotive/bodysense
Lambofan35 Report post Posted December 29, 2017 Just a quick bump as I’ve been talking with Brian for a bit now about this. Apparently he wasn’t able to figure out the airbag situation and that seat sensor situation looks horrible! I spoke with my local head Lamborghini tech and he said the sport seats in the huracan also had some harnesses and plugs with the race seats. 1-does the race seats for an airbag in them? 2-does the huracan airbag not work with a resistor as the gentleman above says because it uses a can bus system to talk with the airbag? 4-is there a way to turn it off? I’m going to install some of the same seats and will be telling with this same issue.
shardul Report post Posted December 29, 2017 Just a thought. What if you vacuum bag the seat occupancy pad and tuck it under the floor carpet, with that create enough pressure as to not trigger the sensor

What if you vacuum bag the seat occupancy pad and tuck it under the floor carpet, with that create enough pressure as to not trigger the sensor I’m would think we could just jump the seat sensor pad and put it on the floor under the seat but look at the mess Brian had go through to get to the seat sensor, ripping the oem seat apart lol. I think the airbag issue is more complicated.
