Jim Kaiser Report post Posted April 23, 2017 Nope, not a scam, and I apologize if that's how it looked. Yes, that was my first post here after signing up with my real name, and I do own the site I was referring to. In hindsight, I should have been more upfront about that and asked for feedback instead of just posting what I did, so now, that's what I'm asking. If anyone who replied to my post would like to sign up on the site, I'll credit your account with a few free bids so you can see how it works, and I would love to hear your feedback so that I can make any needed improvements to the site. I want to assure you that it's 100% legit and that it's nothing close to a "jam auction". Somebody will actually win the car. Thanks for your time, and again, I apologize for getting off to a bad start on this forum. Jim

Jim Kaiser Report post Posted April 23, 2017 How about you post a vin of the Countach for starters Hi topcabron, I'd be happy to send you the Carfax, but I'm not sure what that would prove. Please understand what the site is about and read the FAQ's and the "How It Works" page. The site should be fun. We are not asking anybody to spend 300K on the car, Just $5 for a chance to win it. IanMan Report post Posted April 23, 2017 read the last sentence chance to win you bid for a chance to win you know what they say about too good to be true........... I know it's a scam. I just wanted to see how much effort they put into it. The website looks like a 6th grade computer science class project. That car has been for sale forever. Jim Kaiser Report post Posted April 23, 2017 I know it's a scam. I just wanted to see how much effort they put into it. The website looks like a 6th grade computer science class project. That car has been for sale forever. Fair enough. Please tell me where you see a scam. Everything is clearly spelled out and when all is said and done, somebody will be winning the car with their $5 bid. Nothing at all scammy about that. rushdriven Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Hi topcabron, I'd be happy to send you the Carfax, but I'm not sure what that would prove. Please understand what the site is about and read the FAQ's and the "How It Works" page. The site should be fun. We are not asking anybody to spend 300K on the car, Just $5 for a chance to win it. The VIN shows which Countach is up for raffle. Speaking of raffles - different states have different laws regarding raffles. Which state are you in? Which state is the car in? For example in Washington State: 1. Who can offer a raffle? Only a bona fide charitable or nonprofit organization with a purpose that meets the criteria listed in RCW 9.46.0209 is allowed to conduct raffles in Washington State. The organization must be organized and operating for at least 12 months before offering a raffle. 2. Can a private citizen or commercial business offer a raffle? No, not even if they give the money raised to charity. You must get a license if you plan to: Award firearms as a prize; Conduct a joint raffle with another non-profit organization; Give noncash incentives for selling tickets; Sell discounted tickets; Have someone other than a member of your organization sell tickets; Choose winners using an alternative drawing format, such as a poker run. When you apply for a license, you will need to prove your organization has: Made significant progress towards accomplishing its stated purpose during the 12 consecutive months before applying for a license; and At least 15 voting members who elect the governing body. Jim Kaiser Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Thanks rushdriven. It's not a raffle. I've spent thousands of dollars developing a system, consulting with lawyers, and having a site built that complies with all gambling laws. It's a fun and legal way to sell high end items dirt cheap. It's definitely got some gambling aspects to it, and I understand that's not for everyone, but for those who like that sort of thing it will be a fun site with some lucky people winning some amazing cars.
