To ignore tires in any cornering or track comparison is not a good way to determine the cars ability. Slap Trofeo R on the 720S and it will be faster. It also will lose a big part of its design philosophy, where it's meant to be used on the street, that includes rain. The Performante was over 5 seconds a lap slower than the 720S on Autocar's wet test track. Now, you might not drive in the wet with a supercar, but tires are a HUGE lap time contributor, and arguably is the biggest improvement for any of these cars over the last 4 years. It's why a F1 car on Ultrasofts will blow by a car on Soft, even with 100 less horsepower and a worse chassis

Aren’t you the master of the obvious

Why anyone would send there Huracan to anyone but UGR blows my mind. A UGR bolt on setup will hurt the 720s' feelings. And it's incredible that the 720s is doing damage to these poorly modded "Huracant's"

These slow supercharged Huracans and 1/2 ass built TT Huracans are getting exposed. These companies popping up everywhere putting this TT junk out is sad. A lot of these are ending up here at our shop to get redone. These guys are putting these cars out thinking just a stock ECU tune is good enough, meanwhile they are damaging their transmissions and more. This TT Huracan in this video is not shifting correctly.

Some of you guys are confused thinking that the Huracan is slow on the shifts. The shifts are not slow. The problem is the clutch is slipping just after the shift and the TCU is commanding the stock ECU to pull power/TQ to try to stop the slip. This is very easy to hear with the trained ear. At 7:44 in the video where the green Huracan gives up, the clutch is slipping. The Video says (spun and short shifted) It slipped the clutch then hit the RPM trigger to shift. This is what happens when you are using (stock or junk after market) clutches and or a stock TCU tune.

A properly built bolt on TT Huracan on pump gas is enough to beat the 720.

But that is the crazy part - you need a legit turboed V10 to beat a stock 720. What about when they start getting proper exhausts, tunes, upgraded turbos, etc.? May need a fully built motor + turbo to beat a bolt on 720.

Nah, it won't take much more HP before the tires just can't hang, at least below 80mph.

The stage 2 (bolt on) can make plenty more power. I went 202mph after hitting the limiter in a BOLT ON Huracan in the 1/2 mile.

  • 2 weeks later...
on pump gas should be close, 800 whp.... stage 1 race gas should do it though.... so $60k to beat the 720s....

Yep, exactly. We can sit here all day and say that a UGR car will spank it, but the fact that we have to go that far to beat a "STOCK" car is the point of it all.

And Fikse, I apologize for my early reactions. Your videos are great. I guess I was just another butt-hurt Lambo owner who couldn't handle how "slow" our cars are stock compared to other brands. Lol.
