Vegas isn't ideal for a family trip, but I'd suggest you check out the Forum shops at Caesar's, if there's a big name performer you like checkout a show, or catch a cirque du soleil show. There's a lot of great restaurants there as well.

6 days is way too long to spend in Vegas (you're going to discover that really quick) so I'd suggest making a trip out to the Grand Canyon for a day or two. It's insanely gorgeous and there's some cool stuff to checkout and experience there.

I second Ace's recommendation to see the Grand Canyon. Also, the Hoover Dam is on the way too and a worthy site.

There are some track driving rentals you can do. Exotics Racing may not be the best value on a per lap basis, but their selection is impressive (Performante, AMG GT R, Aventador, 488, F12, GT3RS, Plastic mess-06, etc).

Go see "O"

There are a lot of great cirque shows. O is one of them. I also liked Ka for the incredible acrobatics. The Michael Jackson one was great. Zumanity was okay. You can take your son to go shooting automatic machine guns.

North of Vegas there is a dirt track and razor rentals

That’s a good time for the family

Any details? This sounds fun.

6 days is a long time in Vegas. As stated, go to the Grand Canyon if you haven't been. You can catch a helicopter from Vegas to do that. See a comic show (PG13 version worst case, they get pretty rancid if not). Some incredible singers will be performing and definitely see a Cirque show. I didn't care for O much but I could be alone. Tons of shopping to do and stay at a hotel with a good pool. Royalty exotics is the best place to rent an exotic from. You can take it for 4 hours and drive to the Hoover Dam and a few other places. Could rent two cars or just something fun that is a 4 seater.

LV Eric is around here somewhere...

Doubtful kids will enjoy being outside to see the damn! and canyon, if you can afford the chopper tours over the canyon, esp with the landing (~$2k for a family of 4), or even just the strip at night, do it. I took my dad about 2 months ago, Nuke testing museum (esp when the bus tours go to the test sites), Mob museum (get the "experience" package and shoot at fake bad guys) these are the best museums in town to kill a few hours. We learned anything related to any TV show is terrible. Usually a warehouse in an industrial park, almost never worth it, but we saw maybe 10 museums in a 4-day weekend.

They might enjoy container park for a few hours, and the Donut Bar (just for the experience), but get there at 8am before they sell out for the day. Then zipline in Fremont for a ton of fun after dark when the neon is lit up. Try the Neon Graveyard/Museum, but book now, no walk ins and they fill up fast. Valley of Fire and Red Rocks drives are nice too.

If you drink with your son, go to Atomic Liquor and ask about the history of the place, grab food next door with the family. Also Frankies Tiki Room is a classic tiki dive bar, one of the best around, I always grab a tiki mug on any trip. If you like mobsters, try Capo's Speakeasy for some decent Italian food and the old mob-vibe. Hashhouse-a-go-go serves big portions, I take tourists there, you'll talk about the portion sizes for a while.

Of course there is a ton to do on the strip but all the shows look the same to me now and I am not in to gaming.

Hit old vegas but make sure you go at night when the lights are on. Chris angel in the luxor is a fun show for the family. Otherwise be ready to gamble and drink for 4 out of 6 days. I dont recommend going on the offered tours as they are usually drawn out and dry. Check out counts customs while youre there. He has his personal collection in the show room!

Nah, that place was 2 Countaches and some weird stuff from the show, plus some merch to buy. Down the road right there is Welder Up as well. Never heard of them, apparently they had a show and produced some ratrods with some welding talent. There is one of the 1960s TV Batmobile replicas there. Combined the shops had maybe 30 cars. Good people, just nothing to see there, not the showrooms from the TV shows. Honestly, the car spots in Vegas are not interesting, Shelby is ok because you see them building cars and the merch is stuff you'd want to own, but the rest are not much more than a free way to waste 15 minutes.

Last time I went I kayaked down the colorado river which was fantastic, they dropped us in right at the base of the dam which itself was worth it and kayaked down the river stopping at various hot springs and caves. It was an all day event and lunch was provided. I highly recommend it if you like being outdoors.

Vegas is not a family trip.. Its a husband and wife trip.

For a single guy in July, what are the good strip clubs? Where can I get a good private room?

Will be there in July :D .

Some good options already been posted. You can also take them shooting at one of the Ranges in town. If Im not away for work, I can take y'all shooting in the desert at one of the places we train at. Keep in mind it will be hot when your here. Also if Im here and you do the RZR off road rental, Ill roll out with my Can Am and kick some dirt around with ya. There is also VORE where you can race around in mini prerunner trucks.

You can go to the lake and cruise around on Jet Skis or a boat.

Take a quick drive out of town and check out the historic Pioneer Saloon. Pretty cool place to grab a drink and grub.

There is Top Golf that the fam might have some fun doing. Plus you can do that at night so its a little cooler.

We have a ton of great places to eat in Vegas. For amazing service and the old school feel, I really like Michaels in the Southpoint Casino. I never knew about that place until a friend told me about it and I could not believe a place like that was hidden in the South point. But for a more up to date feel and "in" places to go, just pick any of the great ones we have.

There indoor cart racing not too far from the strip around the Palms Casino. Which Palms just finished there renovations. Heard they did a great job.

Just prepare yourself for the dry heat. I hate out summers. We try to leave a lot during the summertime. haha.

Take your family on the High Roller Ride outside the LINQ hotel/casino. It is a giant 550 foot tall ferris wheel over the entire strip. Tickets are around $35 per person if I remember correctly (a little more if you want a car with alcohol served). Very cool experience. Ride it at night as it is so tall you can see the lights all the way to the edge of the town.

I just did this 2 weekends ago. A little silly, but very fun with interesting history. Seemed kid friendly.

Also, I think antelope canyon is not much farther than the grand canyon.

Speaking of Vegas, I'll be there June 8th-12th if anyone is in town. Staying @ cosmo.

The Cosmo is great, especially if you're single :icon_mrgreen: I'll actually be shuffling down to San Diego during that week. A quick trip out would be fun...

6 days in Vegas, I think I would shoot myself. Many better places to take the kids.

My record was 9 consecutive days and nights. It was f*Cking brutal :lol2:

I lived there 20 years give or take

Still have businesses there and properties

You’ll have fun, will be hot. Depending on what you are into there’s lots to do, the strip sucks after 48 hours.

Red Rock is a nice drive, I’d rent a car, there’s other places to drive to that are desert 🌵 scenic.

Can go rent machine guns lol. It’s fun.

You’ll figure it out when you get to town, but my main suggestion is grab a car. Downtown isn’t bad these days, Container Park in downtown is cool and that area. Fremont St down town kinda sucks, the other stuff just east of it is cool. Ask when your there.
