LV Eric Report post Posted July 31, 2005 About: 1 VW Van A Eurovan by any chance?! Anybody who owns a VW van can't be that bad! I made up my mind about two years ago that the best way to get me and my kids around would be in a Eurovan. I ran down to the local VW dealer and found that the Eurovans were no longer being built. When I asked the salesman at the various dealers in south florida about a new or slightly used Eurovan they look at me like I'm on crack! Mine is a 79 with a 2000 cc moter in it, its brown and orange with a ice chest between the front seats and a Lazy-Boy recliner in the back at an angle facing the sliding door. its the coolest car i have.period. abolfaz Report post Posted August 3, 2005 I wish, when I don't see one of the cars for a while I can count on 3 things: 1-Dead battery 2-at least on flat tire 3-so much dust that you can't tell what color the car is.

abolfaz Report post Posted August 3, 2005 Adam, I'm just curious in what order? Was your tr the old style or the newer 92 and on 512? If it was a 512 how long did you have it and what were your overall impressions? Thats probably the only car that I still feel like I need to own, preferably in white. Lightning Report post Posted August 3, 2005 Ok now you are a chickenshit pretentious bastard  OK then, if I'm going to be called names anyway I might as well answer. I’m sorry andyc but I don’t want to come across too pretentious, but I think that this thread might be misconstrued as a little pretentious in nature. Here I go in order starting in 1985: 1968 Cadillac limousine (project that I had at 12 years old that was given to me by my uncle) 1972 Buick Riviera (project that I had at 12 years old that was given to me by my uncle) 1988 VW Scirocco (new) 1988.5 VW Jetta GLI 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa 1988.5 Porsche 944 Turbo S (still have it with over 500k miles) 1990 Nissan 300ZX 1972 Porsche 911 T 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 cab 1994 BMW 740il 1995 Porsche 993 C2 Cab black tiptronic 1996 Porsche 993 Twin Turbo, white, the car that’s pictured on Ernie’s alloys business card. 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi red 1997 Porsche 993 Twin Turbo S ocean blue metallic (still have it) 1997 BMW 740il (new) 1997 Porsche boxster (new) 1999 Porsche boxster (new) 1994 Porsche 965 Turbo S flachbau ocean blue metallic with blue plaid seats 1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi black 1994 Ferrari 348 red 1995 Porsche 993 C2 cab with factory aerokit and 3-pc speedlines 1988 Ferrari 328 GTSi 1995 Porsche 968 Cab 1988.5 Lamborghini Countach white/white 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Cab (last year and only year with 5-spd) 2000 Porsche 996 turbo (yes 2000!) 2001 Audi TT convertible 2002 BMW X5 2.0 (lemon lawed it) 2002 BMW X5 4.4 xxxx Beck spyder 1992 Lotus Esprit (only for 3 weeks) 1995 Ferrari 355 spider (it burned) 1995 Porsche 928 GTS 1996 Porsche C4S (still have it) 1994 Porsche 965 Turbo (still have it) 1995 Porsche 993 cab with factory aerokit and 3.6 turbo wheels (red, still have it) 2003 Lamborghini Murcielago (the coffin) 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible (black/red, should never have sold it!) 1997 Porsche 993 Twin Turbo black/black (still have it) 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo slantnose cab 2003 Maserati Spider cambiocorsa (lemon lawed) 2001 Ferrari 360 spider 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 black/black (still have it) 2001 Porsche Boxster S factory aerokit, FVD 3 piece wheels, supercharger (still have it, although I just sold the supercharger on ebay) 2003 Aston Martin Vantage (one of only 2 red cars built in 2003, still have it) 2004 Audi A8L (it’s leaving soon but I still have it) 1998 Lamborghini Diablo Supercharged roadster (project but still have it) 1982 Porsche 928s Weissach Edition (51k original miles I just got it) 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 yellow (still have it) I’m not a car dealer! abolfaz Report post Posted August 4, 2005 wow, first pretentious and now Car Slut? Don't you guys ever tired of your cars? For example today I developed a real hate for my Boxster S, something happened (I don't know what) and I just said to myself that I don't want this anymore. My red 993 Cab has been at Champion porsche for an engine wire harness recall for over a month now, its next. My wife says I'm like a kid that got tired of playing with a matchbox car. Watch the Porsche section on ebay this week, I'm going to sell two of my porsches. Will I still be a Car Slut?
