Gotta love that you have several planes and jets sitting on the tarmac right at the finish line. They must act like a gravel pit in case you spin out...

 

 

EDIT: it's not even a runway. It's the damn TAXIWAY!

That's some scary stuff. If they were to spin out near the end of the track, that could have been bad with all those planes nearby.

Yikes!!!!! Asphalt scares the crap outta me with no drag strip VHT type prep...also the finish line has a niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice down hill grade (as has been stated multiple times above)

Hmmm ... It may actually be longer than a half mile, when you account for the distance down and up the hills ...
