Lamborghini Urus Explores Iceland

Apparently, Iceland has become a bit of a hipster's paradise lately. Despite that, Lamborghini took a gaggle of Urus' (Uri?) to the island to do some adventure driving.

They put together some cool videos and some great photography. I've read some recent reviews (Car and Driver) and they gush about the ute's ability in the snow and terrain. It's pretty neat to see.

Check out the visual goodness below.

Who will be the first to put a snorkel and light bar on theirs?! :lol2:

Having been to Iceland and driving "ring road" this would be amazing. How do you get that invite damn it..... Only thing that would worry me is the lack of gas stations and running out of gas in the middle of no where and I mean NO WHERE.

These are 99% of the time Press invites for vehicle launches. I'm betting Car and Driver was on this one (hence the latest story in the issue). So you get your Tier 1 publications and outlets that get to go first, then usually the smaller ones thereafter.

And you'd never worry about running out of gas on these trips. They think of EVERYTHING, to make sure it's the single best and enjoyable experience you (as a presser) can have.

It would be neat if Corporate offered a Giro of sorts post press trips. Invite their strongest and best customers out for this kind of thing to do some feedback and evaluations. Might be worth it, might not, but would be an incredible trip.

As an example, Jeep flew Press down to New Zealand for like a week, posh stuff. They spend serious money to make them happy.
