Sant’Agata Bolognese/Zürich, 6 May 2019 – Automobili Lamborghini opens a new dealership in Zürich: the fifth official Lamborghini showroom in Switzerland. On this occasion, the new Huracán EVO makes its local debut, following its world premiere at the Geneva International Auto Show in March 2019.

The opening event, attended by Automobili Lamborghini Chief Commercial Officer Federico Foschini, hosted more than 250 guests and VIPs in the 1.000m2 showroom and aftersales center.

“Switzerland is an important market for Lamborghini, not only in sales numbers for which it ranks in the top ten worldwide, but also for the number of car connoisseurs within the country. The efforts by our local partner in opening this new dealership reveal our brand’s growing appeal, not only among a broader audience attracted by the Lamborghini Urus, but also from our super sports car clients who came here to admire the brand new Huracán EVO,” said Federico Foschini. “The Huracán EVO is the very definition of evolution: it is a step ahead, redefining segment parameters. It is remarkably easy to drive, while delivering the most responsive, sensory and agile driving experience, in every environment.”

Lamborghini Zürich is operated by Hirsch AG, and is the second Lamborghini dealership for the group following the opening of St. Gallen earlier this year.

Located in Kloten, in the northern part of Zürich, the facility incorporates the Lamborghini brand’s new corporate design, boasting an exclusive lifestyle-inspired Ad Personam studio for bespoke personalization, and a generous area for showcasing the brand’s latest supercars. The new Lamborghini Zürich showroom encompasses a luxurious reception area, a Lamborghini merchandise boutique, a VIP lounge, offices and the car workshop, conceived to offer an outstanding experience for customers.

With 160 vehicles delivered to customers in 2018, the Swiss market saw significant growth of 48% versus the previous year. 2019 will see a full year of sales for the Super SUV Urus while first deliveries of the new Huracán EVO will begin in summer, alongside continuing Aventador sales.

The new Lamborghini Huracán EVO offers an elevation of technologies for amplified driving pleasure with a new design for improved aerodynamics. It is the first Lamborghini with predictive logic on vehicle dynamics control: fully-integrated Lamborghini vehicle dynamics control system combined with all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering for redefined parameters of responsiveness, agility and easiness to drive. The EVO features the engine from the Huracán Performante with 640 hp and 600 Nm of torque, and a new infotainment system with advanced connectivity features. It is also available as Huracán EVO Spyder.

The Lamborghini Urus is the world’s first Super Sport Utility Vehicle. Its design, performance, driving dynamics and driving emotion illustrate its pure Lamborghini DNA. It is suitable for everyday driving in a range of environments. With its 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque for maximum performance, the Urus accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 305 km/h. It features a 4WD system with active torque vectoring and four-wheel steering for perfect handling, together with carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilization for maximum safety and comfort. Up to six different driving modes + EGO mode are available.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is the pinnacle of Lamborghini V12 super sports cars. The new generation of the iconic V12 Lamborghini flagship in its Roadster version is limited to 900 units. The Aventador SVJ, record holder for production cars at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, features a new design focused on aerodynamic performance. Its naturally-aspirated V12 engine delivers 770 hp, four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering for technical supremacy. Lightweight materials, racing solutions and ALA 2.0 offer best handling performance, with an acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h.
