    • Based on what is known about the new C8 Mid-Engine Corvette at this point would you buy one to replace a current vehicle(s) ?

Have you seen this article, it explains the problem with C5s sales?

I've heard that before. I think it was on a more recent podcast of The Smoking Tire. I cant remember who said it or where in the podcast it was said. But the guy who said it is a C5 owner. It make's perfect sense. You can get a C5 Z06 for 30k or you can get a C6 Z06, which is a way better car for 35-40k.

Quite interesting. Makes a lot of sense when it's laid out like that.

One neighbor of mine has a C5 Z06 that he drives MAYBE once every week or two. He is always polishing or washing it. Nearly always garaged and covered when not in use.

Then on the other end of the spectrum another neighbor damn near daily drives his Ford GTX-1, parks it outside.  When he isn't switching it up to his stock Ford GT, Murcielago Roadster, Huracan or collection of motorcycles. Fun to just watch how very different people enjoy the same hobby.
