megachad Report post Posted August 27, 2019 Bringing back an old issue. Went out for a drive the other day. Car has been feeling great and so I decided I would try and roast some tires. Dropped the clutch and heard a loud pop. Car would go into gear, but it would move in any gear. coasted to the side of the road and called my good friends at makes and models. I was fortunate for them to come save me within 1 hour. They pulled the pinion shaft out of the diff and it is snapped in two. Found some old threads on here from 2007 about others having the issue, but I can't find what they did to resolve. I am being told the 94se ring and pinion was what they were replacing them with. megachad Report post Posted August 27, 2019 Once again Glen at AMH comes through like a champ. I ordered the upgraded diablo SE30 ring and pinion gear set from him. 43 teeth instead of 41.
