Motor1.com had a really cool article with 15 different automotive museums to virtually tour.

1. BMW Zenturm in Greer, SC

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/place/BMW+Zentrum/@34.889654,-82.1769767,21z/data=!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x885780dbd9d34607:0xa4f7de67c70e7596!2sBMW+Zentrum!8m2!3d34.8898409!4d-82.1767593!3m4!1s0x885780dbd9d34607:0xa4f7de67c70e7596!8m2!3d34.8898409!4d-82.1767593

Thoughts: It's a bit clunky and hardly a virtual tour. It's really just four 360* photos. I've been to this one in person, and this doesn't do it justice, but it's neat to see the updates.

2.  Honda Collection Hall at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@36.5270093,140.2266932,2a,82.2y,358.25h,76.31t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sLpX30ve1Wa9apkLqsoCJmg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Thoughts: A better tour with Google Street view, a really cool chance to see some awesome Japanese motorsports goodness. I wish we could see the text on each vehicle, but maybe that'll happen down the road.

3. Mazda Museum in Hiroshima, Japan

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@34.3601627,132.4829466,2a,89.5y,164.4h,81.45t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sRkXqHeZm_CiqmuydTgHkOA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Thoughts: I was surprised how small it was for Mazda, but the rotary room was slick and seeing the LeMans 7B i think it was, was pretty cool. Also, the RX7 was beautiful. I think too much modern, especially with the focus on the SkyActiv engine and the SUV for my museum tastes.

4. Mercedes-Benz Museum

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@48.7882528,9.2336403,3a,82.2y,105.19h,84.19t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipN4gK3XcG-eLbEQET650EdVSPT4WZWCx1feEXdn!2e10!3e12!7i7071!8i3536

Thoughts: Quite frustrating actually. The movements inside doesn't connect. You'll be looking at some vintage racers, click to get closer to a car and next thing you know you're on a different floor looking at bus'.

5. McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@51.3455663,-0.5493952,0a,82.2y,64.54h,90t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sng8OU6zY0MNcmux4faSJZQ!2e0?source=apiv3

Thoughts: This one only appears to let you "drive up" and open the front door of the MTC. Which is a real shame because the facility is quite breathtaking and the cars on hand are something to see; especially the vintage and race cars.

6. Museo Ferrari in Maranello, Italy

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.5302735,10.8626868,3a,82.2y,38.26h,59.57t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipNOlxM1iBTsXi_g0MNjDxZsrRVu5xq-Y13wkL7a!2e10!3e12!7i6000!8i3000

Thoughts: This is another collection of 360* images that aren't navigable. It does have some nice stuff to look at, but I personally enjoy the ones which allow you to "walk through," this one doesn't not sadly. Lot's of beautiful Ferrari's to see regardless.

7. Museo Horacio Pagani Museum in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.591313,11.02928,3a,82.2y,43.99h,87.25t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipOYImC1vEM3VrrFkkrD9jACsxnwcvG5NMm4zmI4!2e10!3e12!7i8704!8i4352

Thoughts: Sadly, it only appears to have one interior 360* photo, I'd love to get a better look at the collection, but it's not there yet. There are a collection of photos, but not a walk-through.

8. Museo Lamborghini in Sant 'Agata Bologense, Italy

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.6591982,11.1257792,3a,75y,267.83h,90.76t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipOp1NPqPfYDyDO6keebhyaIttNgrB9PdPwZnvEn!2e10!3e12!7i9692!8i4846

Thoughts: A proper walk through, just like you are there. We've discussed the factory museum alot, but it's nice to see it through this lens. Worth checking out for sure! Click the number 2 on the bottom right in Google Maps to jump to the second level of the museum. Also I believe it doesn't reflect the recent changes, it's from September 2017.

9. National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@37.0042894,-86.3753967,2a,82.2y,134.84h,94.6t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sw5jrv-Gk33ecSYGmqCEVcQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Thoughts: This is a great walk through of a lot of  square footage. I didn't know there was a pretty decent motorcycle collection in the museum, but some cool stuff on this one. Love that they've included the 50's diner in it.

10. Panoz Museum in Hoschton, Georgia

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0896713,-83.8153678,0a,82.2y,352.26h,82.89t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sAF1QipMQfYcIvJQp9z6InzwoId16pq5VlmnOhegcQVbp!2e10?source=apiv3

Thoughts: Not that the Panoz museum would be huge, but Don had quite the influence in motorsports. This tour is just a one 360* image without much information about the vehicles. I wish you could see the other rooms.

11. Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@34.0622292,-118.3614349,0a,86.4y,7.55h,86.28t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sAF1QipOPRGMqPw6A_yfqrNoJvnyPLBcDlAm_pxWvT7Wg!2e10?source=apiv3

Thoughts: This is one incredible place I would love to spend a couple days in when I get to LA next, but this will have to do. This tour is awesome and i'm still working through it, but if you have a bend for automotive history and classics, so incredible stuff on display here.

12. Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@48.8342782,9.1520613,0a,82.2y,261.38h,84.83t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1saoOc0I7KJGP-T9nu1_8wFw!2e0?source=apiv3

Thoughts: An awesome display, but sadly a very limited tour experience on Googlemaps. Hopefully they expand it, or I just figure out how to see more :lol2:

13. Skoda Museum in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@50.4186674,14.9134254,3a,82.2y,85.41h,84.56t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sAF1QipMRi_7Y3_ij5WNR5jBvx_59D4ZyKWYx_cj9_XyI!2e10!3e12!7i13312!8i6656

Thoughts: A brand i have limited to no experience with, but the tour is nice for a walk-around.

14. Toyota Museum in Nagakute, Japan

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@35.172816,137.0579981,2a,82.2y,353.89h,80.75t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s9L2PDmP9rZp5v-Gxvc3akw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Thoughts: More than just a Toyota collection, this museum house many influential and  significant automotive icons. A good walk through for sure.

15. Volvo Museum in Gothenburg, Sweden

Link: https://www.google.com/maps/@57.6948426,11.8196528,0a,82.2y,5.49h,86.27t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sAF1QipPA3PBeyC5uLWXcF1iq3EkqKqLSOkrnQcT4PWc4!2e10?source=apiv3

Thoughts: A neat little museum, not one I would be super passionate to see, but the brand has it's significance and importance. A good walk around for sure.
