VCR Report post Posted September 5, 2005 I was in Japan last week (where they always had a thing about American Idols of the 50's, etc.) and in one of the many model car shops (which sells really authentic looking minature cars model such those by Autoart) and lol, they were selling 1:18 scale model of this car completed with dents, scatches and "simulated/painted" mud and grass for approx. US$98. ! I wonder how they figured out where the replica of the dents and dirt are --- from photos of the accident? Imagination? or perhaps... TheLimey Report post Posted September 5, 2005 Interesting, there was an article in Road and Track in June about James Dean's involvement in Weekend Racing ( sanctioned - not street racing )in SoCal prior to his death. In the Sept Road and Track it said the motor from Dean's wrecked Porsche was put into a fellow Racer's car ( a Doctor ) and the Doctor, Dr. Troy McHenry later crashed the car with Dean's motor and died Spooky. -James Miller

OK, so theres 2 million on the table, where is the car? I heard that it was scrapped a long time ago, but then again remember the first porsche built was found pushing around cars at a junkyard....
