FYI, the 6.0 wheels are available again from the factory. Check with Glen at AMH. He can get you a brand new set at a considerable amount under retail. Definitely cheaper than the current new set that's been listed again and again on Ebay.

Wow, somebody spent a lot of time and money to make it ugly! I wonder what the interior looks like. With the exterior modified like that, I bet there's a custom interior to match. Geez, never thought I'd see something like this. Poor car!

Definitely not perfect, but I'm thinking that all of those things would be on the easier side to correct. (Except for the salvage title obviously.) I would think that anyone who buys this would be looking to use it as a driver and not so much for investment reasons. Probably when this car was repaired 20 years ago, originality and preservation wasn't on the top of the list.

 

In any case, it might have sold already. Looks like the seller has ended the auction early.

If the story on this car is true, sounds like it could be one of the best case scenarios of a salvage car. It looks very clean in the pics. What are people's thoughts? Is $240K a fair price in today's market? Really can't touch a turnkey Countach these days for around that amount.

Looks like this car came back and is on Ebay again with a buy it now for $85K. Different seller this time that says it's a repossession. I guess it was repossessed from the previous owner that was trying to sell it before? No mention about the engine running at 1/2 power or the other issues the car has. At least the previous owner disclosed those items. Could've been bought before for $60K, current bids at $50,100 with the reserve not met.

 

Definitely the same car. Same VIN and same reupholstered baggy seats.
