  1. In case you haven't spent enough money on the watches themselves, Bentley has teamed up with Stockinger Safes to bring you the luxury watch safe. Available in any of Bentely's exterior colors, you'll also have a choice of leather interior and a choice of 3 different wood veneers. Supposedly impenetrable, but just in case, it also has a built in GPS... oh and it will also wind your ridiculously expensive watches for you too.

  2. Try looking at Tags and Omegas. They have a decent selection of watches within your price range. As for which one to get, it comes down to personal preference. Quality, service, etc. are going to be similar, which explains the similar price points. You can't go wrong with either brand.

  3. I usually run it under cold water, lather my hands, soap and brush it, then I rinse and soak it in a mineral water. I dry it with a microfiber cloth that it came with and to ensure that its completely dry, I blow dry it. I do this once a week.

Is that the proper way to clean a watch? I'm afraid it might lose its luster after a while.

  4. Put in a deposit last April. Dealer said the car will arrive in June, then July, now September. WTF?!?!

With all the BS I'm getting, I was very frustrated and cancelled the order. Technically, the car is still in order as I just found out today but will be back to the dealer tomorrow to have a final talk.

  5. Great info, bro! I always thought that I'm a safe traveler but after reading your post, I'm not.

The "bling bling" part is really what got me. When I travel, I usually bring two watches with me. One for when I go out, and another just in case. Worse is that I usually take the good ones with me. Anyways, in the Philippines, there are way too many people who wears fake so even if I'm wearing the real one, they're gonna think it's fake.

Another thing that I do a lot is leave my valuables just laying on the table when I leave the hotel. For some odd reason, I feel much safer leaving it in the room rather than carrying it with me. Also, I didn't know hotels had safes you can rent!

  6. Jim,

I'm sorry to hear about the financial trouble. I was always told "for every door that closes, a better one opens" so to me it just sounds like a new and better opportunity is just around the corner.

I hope you find the right buyer who will take good care of your toys.

    Best of luck.
