  1. Columbus CNC gathering right?

This is the Italian Gathering which is not run by Columbus Cars and Coffee although many of our members participate in the show. The show benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption (Dave Thomas of Wendy's). It was a great event this year! Valentino Balboni made his first appearance in Columbus that I'm aware of.

  2. Regarding the POV, I keep hearing about situational awareness. Sure, when you're live on TV you're not thinking as much about your surroundings, but it's a good reminder that we all need to pay attention. Check your 6. Watch out for your friends. Make sure you know where the exit is located. These simple things can save your life.

  3. Possible motive; racial complaints after being fired...

    From Washington Post:

"On the air Wednesday, WDBJ’s general manager, Jeff Marks, said that after months of disruptive behavior, Flanagan was fired and ushered out of the station by police.

Flanagan “did not take that well,” Marks told viewers.

“Vesper was an unhappy man,” the general manager said. “We employed him as a reporter, and he had some talent in that respect, and some experience, although he had been out of the business for a while when we hired him here. He quickly became – gathered a reputation as someone who was difficult to work with …

“He was sort of looking out for people to say things that he could take offense to,” Marks recalled. “And eventually, after many incidents of his anger coming to the fore, we dismissed him. And he did not take that well. We had to call the police to escort him from the building.

“Since then –well, he then filed an action with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, in which he made all kinds of complaints. And there may have been one about Alison and/or Adam – I frankly don’t remember – but about members of the staff making racial comments. He was African American. And none of them could be corroborated by anyone. We think they were fabricated.

“But just as an insurance policy,” Marks said, “we went about and talked to all of our employees who had been able to be exposed to this. And we have a pretty diverse workplace. And we got nothing about that. And the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission dismissed the claim out of hand. And that was that."

  4. OK, I own a production company, I've been doing it for 11 years. A lot of our projects involve real estate to one extent or another. This video was WAY overpriced. Granted, casting and talent fees cost money, as do the rights to use the song, but I could produce similar results for $20k. I would have chosen a royalty-free hip-hop track from our enormous library of music and maybe cut back on the casting and focused more on the house itself, showing shots of people in the rooms here and there. Still, I love the use of video to market a property, enough of the stupid 360-degree views and amateur photos!

  5. I am pretty sure that guy posts here. That being said I think it is a render.

I do not think it is a render. Jordan has had exclusive access to Lamborghini products in the past, including the Urus concept which he photographed at Pebble Beach. If anyone is getting a first shot at photographing this car, it's probably him. He said he will post a behind-the-scenes on his blog tomorrow so I guess we'll find out then.

  6. What is less convenient? Not opening peanuts or an emergency landing at some airport you did not want to go to because someone is going into shock and can't be stabilized? Now the turning off our cellphones thing on the other hand...
