  1. The most frustrating thing about this for me is listening to the completely distorted viewpoints of people who don't have any idea what they're talking about. The ignorance about what a grand jury is, the refusal to accept the facts of the case, the "hands up, don't shoot" slogan which is based on nothing except an invented narrative. Social media has been impossible to look at. I'm so glad Thanksgiving will disrupt this story some because I don't care to see any more about it.

Based on the findings of the grand jury, it appears Michael Brown did in fact receive justice and it was delivered to him free of charge at the rate of a bit over 1,000 feet per second.

  2. We had a Chinese college student in our Cars and Coffee group for a couple years, he had a LP570-4 and modded M3. I went to his apartment once and his whole apartment complex was FULL of Chinese students with $75k+ cars in the parking lot.

  3. My little brother just got back from Africa where he was providing medical aid work. He was working in Tanzania, about 3,500 miles away from the Ebola Zone, but of course you're still concerned when it is your family.

On his second day there, he's giving an injection to a patient. The young girl swatted at his hand when the needle stung her and ended up causing him to STICK HIMSELF with the DIRTY NEEDLE! They were both screened for everything and came back negative. He's going through a second round of screens and tests to confirm the first round but it looks like he will be fine. He didn't tell me or our mom about this whole incident until after all the tests were in...probably a wise move.

  4. I was visiting my mom about a week ago when her whole city lost power. As I drove down her street, I saw one house completely lit up and could clearly hear the sound of a large generator running. I had two simultaneous thoughts; first, it must be nice to have that backup option, and second, wow that makes for a nice brightly lit target if there was an extended problem. I'll likely have a backup generator when I buy a house and I think they're great but just don't forget to keep your lights low and your shotgun ready if the outage drags on longer than a day or two.

  5. Thanks to DrMac for bringing his amazing P1 to Columbus a couple weeks ago for an event with our Cars and Coffee group. Our club photographer shot the car and got some incredible shots, including this one which Tim hasn't seen yet! I've got a (different) amazing photo getting printed up and it will be headed your way soon, buddy! :eusa_dance:
