  1. Houston, did you send the entire assembly to Paul to match up the motor? I’ve gotten disassembly down to the step before separating the metal casing, so I haven’t seen whether the gear is broken but I’m guessing it is.

Has anyone ever bought the GM assembly?  Looks the same, I wonder if it’s worth buying as a drop in replacement.

  2. I looked at this car. You would need new headlights to replace the painted orange ones, tons of new or repainted trim, fix the stereo, new wheels, etc. That's not even including the Panama or shady replica history. I'm glad Roy talked me out of this car a few months ago. Paid a little more for a no stories car, didn't have to deal with the refurb, etc.

Thanks Roy, you were totally right about passing on it!

  3. So, I had my small SV stickers removed to clear bra the entire car. I bought both the small and large sets because I couldn't figure out which to put back on. I've now decided on the big decals. Does anyone have, or can take, several shots of the decal placement? I've found pics on the internet, but can't tell how high/far back the stickers go, as well as what angle. I'd need shots from both sides of the car, preferably directly from the side. Might help to have slightly elevated shots with reference points, too. Thanks in advance.

  4. Awesome post Whiteout, love the videos. While I'd love to go full primary deletes, I already have a hard enough time convincing my wife to ride in the car. Without cats, she'll never get in it. Have you ever installed a secondary delete while leaving primaries in? How about compared to primary high flows and secondary delete? I have access to the secondary delete pipes, but am trying to decide whether to install those first or just get the primary high flows and install both at the same time (it's a bit of a hassle to get the car serviced, so if I can avoid two trips that is preferable).

My fear is that if I don't like the Larini sound, I'll have to remove everything and start over with the full IPE exhaust. Anybody want to buy a Larini muffler? If I pre-sell that, my decision might be easier.

  5. If I remove the secondaries and replace with test pipes (leaving stock primary cats), how does that compare to replacing the primaries with high flows AND secondary test pipes? Are secondaries only a fair representation of how the Larinis sound? How much more volume and does the pitch change when stepping up to high flow primaries? I already have access to test pipes, would have to order high flows.

If I don't like sound with Larini and test, I may skip the Larini primaries and just replace the whole thing with IPE. I'd hate to get high flows and still hate the Larini sound.

I can't find any videos comparing the larini alone, larini and test secondaries, larini and only primaries, and larini with both primary high flow and secondary test.

  6. I am personally done with catless cars. The stink gets in your clothes and hair so you get to smell it all day. And the chicks will hate riding in the car.

Ahh, thanks for the reminder. I remember my Viper days, it smelled terrible.

Looks like I'll be trying the IPE or Larini high flows, secondary deletes, and keeping me Larini muffler unless someone local wants it cheap :)

  7. Ah, sorry about that. It must have populated from the last thread I was in. :icon_mrgreen: Darn, haha. ;)

If you want louder, why not just put test pipes where your cats are? I believe that WHITEOUT has gone catless. I'd check out his Instagram @ Lamborfuckinghini. I think he has a few clips of his car on there.

I'm definitely going test pipes for secondaries. Thought about it for primaries, but heard that I may have power loss if I do that with the primaries.

  8. I finally found an LP670, and am already wanting to make it louder. It currently has the Larini muffler on it. So, the question is:

    1) Do I go with Larini primary hi flows? Or just get a delete? Will an IPE primary sound any different, and would it even work with Larini muffler?

    2) Test pipes for the secondary cats?

    3) Bite the bullet and get an IPE or Kresseig?

Thanks for the input guys, I'm just starting my research.

P.S. - I have the Larini Club Sport valved mufflers for my Performance, which sounds way louder than my SV Larini muffler. Not sure why?

  9. Thanks guys, 660 miles is with me driving every free second I can get lol. Between running the businesses, spending time with family, etc. it's getting harder and harder to drive. I'll have to admit, though, that seeing them all first thing in the morning and last thing at night really is motivating for me. Some people look at 1:18 models, I look at 1:1 models :)

  10. Up for sale is my personal 2014 Aventador Roadster with only 660 miles. $500k+ MSRP

This car has over $57,000 worth of options. It is in pristine condition with zero paint or body work, and has been meticulously maintained by a professional detailing shop. There are no rock chips, scratches, or dings on the entire car. I had the entire exterior clear-bra’d ($8,000), which helps prevent scratches and rock chips. The seats show absolutely no wear, and the aluminum trim is free of any scratches. A Valentine One Radar system is hardwired into the car. Some of the options are:

Rosso Mars Paint Custom Color ($9,940)

    Front 20" x 9"/Rear 21" x 13" FACTORY Dione Forged Alloy with P255/20ZR20 Front & P335/25ZR21 Rear Pirelli P-Zero ($6,780)

Full Body (not just front) Clear Bra ($8,000)

    Lamborghini Sound/Navigation ($4,200)

Parking Sensors and Rearview Camera ($4,900)

Fully Electric and Heated Seats ($4,200)

    Elegante Plus Interior ($3,500)

    Exterior Carbon Fiber Details ($3,380)

    Sport Exhaust ($3500)

    Multifunction Steering Wheel ($1,540)

    Branding Package ($1,130)

    Red Brake Calipers ($1,390)

    Homelink ($560)

    GGT ($3,700)

I've had three Aventadors, they are amazing cars. Just looking for something different to try. I'm open to partial trades on other exotic cars.

MODS: Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to move my ad from vehicles over to general classifieds. I think more people are looking at general, correct me if I'm wrong :)

  11. I've got to ask, with just over 600 miles on the car, do you suffer from the ADHD that a lot of exotic buyers have, or did the car just not do it for you?

I've definitely got ADHD when it comes to cars, but this is my third Aventador (and I've got other exotics to go with it). I'll probably come back to the Aventador after I get a few hypercars out of my system :)

  12. Thanks, but car is sold...
