  1. I don't know if that's a truism or not??? There are two Yugos. The under folder and the fixed stock, which is what I have ( the m70). And then the forged and stamped. I can't remember what the folders are called. 70b? Maybe.

Ehhh, I suppose I'm still a little ignorant to the AK platform and all of the different designations, models, etc. This M70/PAP deal is making more sense to me the more I look into it.

  2. Breaking Bad hands down! Haven't seen Dexter, but have heard good and bad things about the series. I'll have to check it out when BrBa is over. Started watching SoA and like it...just lost interest to keep up with it. Now I'm way behind.

On a side note, Chuck Zito came by my workplace the other day. Story is he wrote the original pilot episode script to SoA and it somehow got 'stolen'. As some type of settlement, the producers gave him a role in the series.

  3. It's what a WASR-10 is supposed to be: inexpensive, basic, somewhat clunky and loose, and goes bang every single time.

I know what you mean. I wish we could get back to the times of sub-$400 WASR-10s...but those times are long gone I'm afraid. A WASR-10 is exactly what I'm looking for though, nothing fancy. If I can find one at $600 or less I'm a buyer all day long. They're getting closer and closer to that point at least.

  4. Why safer?

Maneuverability could be an argument for some. It's just a weird machine to operate and get used to, you kind of have to re-train yourself to ride. I'm sure with many hours of riding and getting used to the 3-wheel set-up one could feel safer on it rather than a 2-wheeler. I felt awkward riding one for a few minutes and couldn't find myself wanting to own one.

  5. Have you ridden one yet? I got the chance to ride one and laughed(giggled) the whole time. It was one of the touring models, not the RS-S. It wasn't a laugh from enjoyment, but something like a comical embarrassment. I feel like I would do the same if I were to drive a 'donk' car.

They're great for women who aren't comfortable with two wheels though.
