  1. Amazing project! Your Diablo is like new now!
  2. Hi to all of you. I am new in the Lambo world, and got my first car less than a week ago. a red 93´with 15000km on it. The car runs great, all gauges show good values etc. I did however noice a slight rattle sound from the engine. The sound is most present at about 2000 rpms, and then fades off again as the rpms are increased. Being a former Ferrari owner, with a oil pump chain tesnioner failure, I have some Issues with this kind of noise... Since I could not get a clear answer if the tensioners had been replaced in my car or not, I decided to remove the covers to have a look. Better safe than sorry, especially with these cars... Anyway, today I got the covers of, and found the Hydraulic old style tensioners in both sides (uppers). When I push the chain with my fingers, I can pretty easy press the chain over until it touches metal ( the guides I presume), so the tensioners dosent really put much tension in the chain. BUT, can sombody tell me if the old hydraulic tensioners only put tension on the chain when the engine is running, or all the time? It was my understanding the usual failur with these old style tensioners is that the keep tightning the chain until it snaps. This would mean that they keep the tension on at all times. ? I know atleast a few guys on here has worked with the tensioners in these cars, so please comment. Herer is the 2 upper tensioners:
