Added the rims and some other carbon parts I created at my workshop along with that I added pulley, ecu tune and custom made headers... Also redid the side mirrors since I did not like how they were done... Will post pics soon...

I like it a lot, a bit rough though feel every bump on the road in my back and it doesnt help when you have issues with your back! Other then that its amazing... needs some more power though..

Sorry for the late reply guys, yes the car is wrapped and the lights are painted (not 722 lights) from the inside, so we just open the light and spray it on the inside... I really like the color and I'm thinking of actually painting it the same color.... Next up HRE P40s convicial and my carbon parts along with red brake's...

Thanks for the photoshop of the pics...think the closest attempt would have to be livetodrive's its actually a little bit lighter then that but looks good, I might go ahead with foiling it Mauritius blue or something close to it... Will upload pics if I decide to go ahead with it...

Hey guys, I recently purchased this SLR and was thinking of painting it or foiling it in Mauritius Blue (Designo color)... Would anyone be able to photoshop with that color and maybe dark grey HRE P40's?

The steering wheel is not problem. I could be wrong but the regular SLR's have the button's whereas the 722 has the paddles. If you like the way they look go for it otherwise it is a waste of money as it does not perform any better or different.

No luck on the IPOD install and i am not looking for a reverse camera. I do however have the factory upgrades list and can email to you if you wish. FYI, IT IS STUPID MONEY. They have an IPOD application along with NAV and cameras for 11000 pounds, not worth it imo.

BMW Racer, I actually just purchased it, it still hasnt arrived since I bought it from KSA and not in the UAE... Thinking to do some engine upgrades, carbon interior and a few bits and pieces...

 

Anyone know if the steering wheel with the paddle shifters can be installed on an 05 SLR? Or if there is someway to retrofit them?

 

Also any luck on the ipod install? Reverse Camera?

I’m emailing you all the many upgrades McLaren is now offering for the SLR though UK Mclaren only. They have a new stereo with Ipod hook up, back up camera, that’s going to be a life saver. Along with suspension up grades, body work and a bunch more stuff.

 

Just fitted a quicksilver exhaust system to my crystal gray coup. It sounds so f-ing awesome. Alas listing to music while driving is not an option.

Do tell about reprogramming the transmission.. Who and how?

 

Am also considering upgrading to limited slip differential.

Supposedly a totally worth while upgrade. Any know about his?

 

 

I believe speedriven tune the tcu and have an upgrade for the kit....I am in the process of purchasing an SLR and will send it there before I ship it over....
