  1. Kevin I watched the video of your win last night. It was sick. Without a doubt one of the best racing videos I have ever seen. I think it makes all of your customers proud because they know their car was built my best. Now when people asked me why I sent my car all to Charlotte when there is a tuner in Dallas I am just going to forward them to this link. Congrats to everyone at Ugr. I have never seen a company provide the level of customer service and professionalism you guys do. You deserved the win on many different levels.

  2. What a beautiful build congrats and enjoy in good health! Ive spent too much time lately on the TT side of the forum and Im trying to learn the different reasons and options for each stage. Thanks to Fadi and Dustin, I emailed Kevin earlier in the week for a build sheet estimate lol. Between Fadi's texts of videos of his car and Dustin's "just do it" emails TT is all Ive been thinking about for the past few days lol. Im still deciding on which stage, but Im pretty sure it will be the stage 1 setup but what does the stage 2 mean with "modified engine?" Besides the 50 additional hp is this a safer more stable build? Im sure Kevin will go into detail as we start exchanging emails, but I would like to see what your thoughts and mindsets were before going through with a build. Thanks!

Do the Stage 2 or 2.5. They build you engine when you go with a Stage 2. You won't have to worry about something in the engine failing. Do the 2.5 if you love speed as it will be easier to go to a Stage 3 when you are ready. Trust me the boost is very addicting. I got a Stage 3 with Race heads. Got the car back and drove it for a month. Sent it back to Kevin to get a quickshift. The car came back with a quickshft and was upgraded to a race version. I have had it for a month and still not bored with the power. Glad you are getting Kevin to do your build. You are going to love the work and customer service. Let me know if you have any more questions.

  3. Buddy of mine who has a G wanted a ride in my car this past Sunday. Prior to the ride I don't think he was sold on adding turbos to his car. His reaction is priceless!

Planning on mounting a go pro on the dash to get some more reactions this weekend. Kevin you may need to open up shop in Dallas as most people are sold after their first ride.

  4. I use 54g VP drums and that same electric pump along with this meter:

You have to wire the pump yourself but it's actually easy to wire. Go to sears and get a 3 wire pigtail for a garbage disposal and just connect the wires and put the wiring nuts over them.

I have mine on a drum caster like cody mentioned.

I take the pump out after every use and re-seal the drum, then wipe down the pumps tube and put it on some wood. It has an expanding tube that reaches the bottom of the barrel no problem. Just take it out slowly so the gas can run back down the tube and into the barrel. First time I remove it I did it too fast and splashed gas on the floor.

    Keep a fire extinguisher nearby.

Thanks guys. These responses have helped a lot.

  5. So I bought a couple of drums of race gas. Was going to buy an electric pump from tractor supply. However, the guy who sold me the gas told me that it was unsafe. Was planning on grounding and putting the drums on the pallet. Anyone have experience with using the electric pump? I have seen post about a guy buring his house down but surely that was due to not following instructions? It is currently 50 degress in dallas and it will be stored in my garage. Also will this pump fit the 54 gallon drum? The guy told me the drum had a 2" bung hole. The pump says 1" inlet and 3/4 outlet?

  6. For those of you that hate remotes I have my valve exhuast programed into home link buttons that I don't use under the rear view miror (in a 5 series). I learned this only after getting rid of a IPE exhaust for my LP 550 and deciding to add TT's. It elimnates the need to have remotes and worry about batteries. I am sure it works on the aventador Homelink system.

  7. LOL I am broke. This is my 3rd TT project this year... Got married, bought a house, and etc.......

It will be fast but no stage 2 race lol.

Dustin you should go for a R2 Version now, when your new wife finds out how much you spent you she will ask for a divorce, during the divorce you will sell the house, move into an apt, etc. At least thats the order I am hoping for in my family.

In all seriousness good choice on going with Kevin. Looking forward to meeting you and Kisco in Houston.

  8. Before you guys book let me know. We are going to get a nicer hotel down the street away from all the crazy stuff that goes on. We will make Mullet clear all his stuff out of his garage and keep the cars there. lol Maybe we will just stay with Mullet at his house. haha

Let us know where to book

  9. 2rsky 2 months after buying my car the local dealer got a LP-560-2 manual. I prefer a manual. Call Kevin at Underground 704.361.3443 . Adding the AWD was a no-brainer with the Stage 3. If I were in the market today, I would consider going the route you are looking at. By the way, the conversion was flawless. I don't know how the guys at UGR do it but it drives like it came with AWD from the factory.
