I've read all the threads about tires for a G and have decided to upgrade to Michelin Super Sport for my 04 G and was hoping for some input. Note that this is strictly for everyday street summer use and never track use.
First, my wheels are 3piece asanti that currently have pzero nero:
Front: 235/25 ZR19
Rear: 305/25 ZR20
So my questions are:
1. At certain hard angles, the front pzero tires have always rubbed slightly and I wonder if MSS tires would be the same or worse with rubbing? I read a thread where the tread is wider and thus is wider than a tire of equivalent size.
2. Since they are discontinuing the Super Sport tire in favor of the Pilot Sport 4S, should I wait until the 4S is available?
3. The current rear tires are 305 and I am wondering if I can get a wider tire such as 325 which is the next available size of SS.

Oh I see. So does that mean all of those parts would work to replace the OEM lambda sensor???
I am also curious if the cross-referenced list means that any of those parts will work to replace the OEM sensors in a gallardo? Also, is the same sensor used for the pre-cat and post-cat locations?

Like others have said, there will be ABSOLUTELY no upside to running race fuel in your car, and several potential downsides based on the lead. It is stock, run pump 93 octane. Unless you just like wasting money and replacing o2 sensors
I hear what everyone is saying, but I can only say for me and my setup - it absolutely increases response and takeoff. It's not placebo, the 111 citgo turbo blue I've used drastically increased power. Keep in mind, that I've had the ECU tuned for 'high octane' fuel so perhaps thats why I notice such an increase. I can't speak for anyone else's vehicle but like I said it does increase atleast the response time in my G....

Could anyone enlighten me about using 110 LEADED Renegade "Formula R+M/2" race gas? It's the only high octane gas around me at a local sunoco, however it is leaded. Could someone answer these few questions please:
1. Will it hurt my 2004 gallardo? I have no cats, high flow filters, and re-programmed ECU. The owner told me it was okay to use this gas as long as I rotated every other tank with 94 unleaded.
2. Is there any place ONLINE to buy race gas? If so, has anyone done this and could show me where to buy the BEST race gas for my G?
3. Is there any fuel ADDITIVE that I should put in along with the leaded fuel?

Interesting what's on google. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you own your G, but with all your SEO activity it makes you wonder if you have any affiliation to this site.
The original post stunk of either BS or a scam. Since you seem to ignore all the signs that the website is dodgy, it's no wonder our BS radars are going off. Personally, I had assumed your account had been hacked and you were just spamming us - why else would anyone trust a replica company with 'top gear tv series' as the name? Ok so your own research has shown that 5 years ago the company was very shady and a scam but you cant find any new information.
But if it was a scam 5 years ago what are the chances it has changed? Are there any signs that it suddenly went legit? Mothing on the website makes mention of new owners or new management.

On their Facebook page they show the new Aventador "replica" that is available for $20,000. Now Im not a lambo expert let alone owner but it looks like the replica on their Facebook is photos of an actual real lambo that they are claiming is there replica. A big give away is the interior and engine photos. To suggest for $20,000 they can build a car that looks like an exact copy is crazy.
Thank you for a [mostly] contributory response. I do appreciate your insight into the scam. I'm honestly just surprised that a site like that can exist with all of the DMCA laws and whatnot without being hammered from the show and the people incorrectly portrayed as partners.

I understand what you are saying... I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by all of the the snooty pretentious members on here who are so offended by my opening question, which asked was purely for conversation on the forum and not promotion or suggestion that replica's are worthy of discussion(Oh how dare I!). I simply wanted to know if anyone in the community had heard of this site/company, as well as thoughts on their replica's(assuming they were real). I have a real G and an F458 but I'm not inflamed at the word 'replica'. It's a shame that these small-minded individuals are too good to talk about anything that they might disagree with or have strong opinions of.

I was extremely surprised to see little to no discussion on the web about a new replica supercar company/website I came across today.... Their website. www.TopGearTVSeries.com seems legitimate as well as most of the content. I couldn't find much on the web about the website at all, but once I realized it was linked to www.SuperReplicas.org, then I started to see a little information on the web that was four years old.
So the question - has anyone heard of them, know their legitimacy, or anything else about the manner?

Can anyone tell me where to get tinted front and rear side markers for my 04 G? I've only found one place on ebay that sells "smoked" front markers but they might as well be clear because they aren't dark at all..
I know that some people can paint their own markers with a semi-clear black to give it a see through tint effect, but does anyone have more info on how to do this if there is no where to buy replacements?

He is probably getting a ticket for 'unclear plate' because the license plate frame partially covers the state or county on the plate. Some states are REAL sticklers with things like this.
thats exactly right. it's actually illegal in all states to have even a license plate frame believe it or not. Most states just don't enforce it but if a cop wants to be a dick then they can legally write you a ticket for a license plate frame. I've received tickets for that and for the backup camera that bolts to the top of the license plate because cops around here are unhappy jealous pricks.

Has anyone seen or put a rear spoiler from 06+ G's on a G that didn't come with the spoiler that has the reverse camera on it? I currently have a 2004 with a license plate camera on it but it's illegal and I keep getting damn tickets for it so I'm trying to see if I can buy a used spoiler that has the inbuilt camera and put it on my 2004 G?

This sounds like a dumb question, but can someone tell me #1 the location of the fuse box, and #2 which fuse might be to the radio?
My radio all of a sudden stopped turning on so I'm assuming it is a blown fuse. Also, does anyone know if aftermarket radios have their own fuse built in? I have a newer kenwood system and I'm hoping I don't have to take out the radio to replace a fuse.....?

Look at both cars' wireing plugs, maybe the color codes on the wiring are similiar. Might just be a matter of cutting off both connectors and putting your wires on the new switch connector.
thats what I was thinking too... only thing is I don't have access to the plug for the new panel switch. Do you know where I would be able to buy a wire harness for this or a schematic?

Does anyone have any idea where I could get an adapter, OR where I could find the schematics for the plugs so I could fabricate something myself? There are two plugs(one for function and one to light up each button) that go into the back of the old panel switchboard, and there is only one plug(both function and lighting) that goes into the new panel switchboard...

Does anyone have any suggestions on where/how to replace the OEM engine specs sticker for a Gallardo? Photo is attached. I have replacement engine panels and instead of transferring the worn stickers I was hoping to find a way to get replacements.....?
